Dead Space 2 comes out soon & was woundering if I should get the 1st game. I only beat up to the 11-12th level(rented it)

I haven't played it in over a year. I know it's a good game but is it worth it for the increased difficulty & weapon upgrades?

They said Microsoft wants you do give rid of your old Xbox 360 after only 16 months for the new version with added features such as a 120GB Hard Drive. Thats the exact thing they said. Dumb thing was instead of showing it they showed a Xbox 1 with the old big controllers it came with.
