Its time to demand some answers here. Whats with the delays on ''World in Conflict'' for console. It has been rescheduled too many times since the PC version was relesed. The last I read was it would release on Q1 2009, now I see its gone from the Q1 release list. Seriously, will this game ever be released at all? Ive been expecting this one for close to 2 years and Im starting to loose interest on it. I didnt play on PC because I needed new Graphics card and I wasnt willing to spend more money on my rig so as it was advertised it would be available for consoles soon after PC release I decided to wait. Ive waited too long now and not even an official release date is out yet. Whats the catch? If anyone can shed some light on this issue itll be aprecciated highly.

Lucky you i seriously went through like 5 ps2's. But for rrod never had it i got my 360 elite in 2007 when they first came out and havent had it yett. hopefully i dont

[QUOTE="jagcivtec"]Its fine with me if anyone thinks Im lying, but Im not. Microsoft did request for a receipt and I couldnt comply. I clarify that maybe my post was a little vague in the sense that the person I got the 360 from had used it for a while then gave it to me and I really have no idea if it had been regstered, repaired, or anything else. I didnt write to flame the 360, after all I got it over the PS3 because I had seen it action, played at my brothers, and loved it. And while my own lasted it was an awesome experience. But I have to be objective here, my 360 broke, my brothers broke, and even 360 defenders post that they have had to send theirs in themselves, more than once even, and even have helped others in that matter! even admit 360 is a troblesome console. I owned a PS1 for over 6 years with no problems until I got my PS2 which I played for 8 years until I got a 360, and you know what, that 10 year old PS2 still works and my 360 lasted close to a year then BOOM! RROD. Theres no excuse for any hardware breaking down so fast and so often. Only explanation: Poor design, materials and construction. Its that simple. I did love my 360, great games, graphics, ect. I give it some credit, but I just cant put up with mediocrity so im going back to sony.SrgtSaggy101

I really hope the latest 360 Elites trully fix the complex overheating and bad soldering RROD problem and you owners never have trouble with your console because the first time you see those flashing red lights your world will crumble if you are a serious gamer. I just lost faith in MS and wont risk the money with a new 360, Ill give sony the same fair chance I gave MS and will be as honest about sonys console performance as I am about 360.

I got that receipt junk from Microsoft, when the frienly lady at the other end of the phone line requested it because of the purchase date printed on it. But thats not the point anyway, the point is that the 360 is unreliable and as I will switch to PS3 i would like to hear some opinions.

My experience with the XBOX 360 has been a hugely dissapointing one. My brother had the RROD on his and luckily his was replaced and has worked fine, so far. With 360 who knows what will happen tomorow. I wasnt as lucky with mine, also got RROD, as I got it as a gift, so had no purchase receipt. My only option was modifiying mine with things like the X clamp fix, Penny fix, Extra cooling fans, Setting the console and power brick on a shoe box, and towel overheating which rendered only temporary results. Microsoft let me down with their faulty, highly unreliable, junk console. This is very sad as I chose the 360 over the PS3 for the sheer volume of great games available on 360. I regret my choise and have decided to go back to sony which has never failed me in such a manner as microsoft has. Ill be getting a PS3 soon and would like to hear some opinions and advice from gamers who have already switched. How has the switch to PS3 turned out? Was it a good decision?

That is bad news for me, as I stoped playing PC games 3 years ago due to the onerous cost of constant upgrading. I only play console now. WIC is an old game but my Nvidia card is low for it and I have no plans of upgrading. Guess Ill pass this one if its not on console.
