This reviewer is like a friend of mine who bought the game on Steam without carefully reading the features on the store page. He was so mad and disappointed that the new stuff is only a few, not as many as he expected. I told him to carefully read the store information before buying a game. If they make some fancy new features, the store information will contain each of them. It's simple marketing logic. I told him he won't be so disappointed if he carefully checked what new features they offer and then decide if it's worth his 50 bucks. Don't go blindly buy a game without knowing what you gonna get, or you might end up grumpy like this reviewer xD

I haven't played Batman games since Arkham Asylum, but it seems this Arkham Origins is the best Batman game ever made. It has everything Arkham City has and more. I'll probably pick it up when it's on sale.

Very interesting, a solid progress for GG series. I know UE4 is capable of excellent visual while not demanding much on hardware. Put it on Steam pls, my dollars are waiting, ready for a first-day/early-access buy.

Good to hear it. Steam is like the most advanced platform on PC right now, with leading tech, innovative features, & millions of active users. If the game is good, it will potentially go viral on the network. I personally have made a few recommendations for games that I found to be very good for my Steam friends to see, using the built in tool.

I love Klei's Mark of the Ninja, but I never have strong interest toward Don't Starve. It seems like a game about endless boring work in a lonely & not-so-colorful world. Seems like job xD

This game is like Diablo 3 in a sense that everytime you hit a monster, the game request a response from its server before giving you any visual and damage effect. There is always delay between your attack and its effect, gamebreaking 0.5-1s delay if you are far away from its server. It kills the game for me.

I don't know about Resident Evil, but regarding DMC, Capcom is known to be infamous among past and potential DMC customers, called "fans". No surprise if the sale are not as good as targeted. Ideally, if Capcom want satisfying sales then they should maintain good relationships with past and potential customers, called "fans". Listening about what they want for future sequels will also help significantly.

In my opinion, people should be able to trade/resell their license to play games, it doesn't get any more beneficial for customers than that. At first it might sound bad for Steam and game publishers, but such concept actually can be good for everyone if Steam provide a marketplace and with each sale both Steam and the particular game publisher gets a little cut/fee. In total probably still less financial profit for Steam & developers, but with the added benefit for customers, I think it would be a better system overall. It's more fair & beneficial thus I believe customers will not be reluctant to spend more money and show support to both Steam and game publishers. The post above shows that some customers don't feel current Steam system as fair enough. The question for Steam would be, do they want to make it more fair for customers or keep the most benefit for their side? I think it is better to be fair, because in reality it doesn't have to be Steam, there are 'free' version of anything Steam sells. Back to what I said, with more fair system people will be more likely to show support. The question is, would Steam be interested in it?

I always find it weird that they put gaming and movies together. Seem to lost focus. I prefer focused website.

Ninja Theory does very well with environment design for the stages, which often results in spectacular view in some stages. The game also loads superbly well, you never have to wait for more than a few seconds for anything. The fighting mechanics is okay, different than previous titles (especially without lock-on functionality) but also bring new mechanics for Dante. Upgrades system for weapons and abilities is okay, quite similar to DMC4 in some fashion. Though I think DMC3's experience based level-up system is still the best, because it truly encourages using something to level it up. The story is okay, realistic and good though the ending is seemed a bit forced to cover the final battle. Ninja Theory does good job and deserve appreciation, though as a fan I still hope Capcom won’t abandon original Dante with style-based fighting mechanic and Nero with devil hand + revved sword mechanic. I want them to build on that and if they want new mechanic simply make a new character to add into DMC universe, like they did with Nero. And it's 2012, most game publishers will want to hear what their fans have to say. Why don't you, Capcom? You can start by making a contact page on your website. Tear down that wall of exclusivity, be down to earth sometimes with your costumers. Learn from Valve.

As a fan since the DMC3, what I personally want is for this new DmC game is to be an integrative addition to the series instead of a total reboot. I’d prefer the emo Dante be set as (e.g.) a grandson of original Dante who lives in different era. Thus, no conflict there. The previous playable characters remain intact in the DMC universe, available for future sequels. So there would be 4 playable characters, each with its own concept of combat: original Dante (have many styles & weapons), Nero (badass overpowered devil hand and chargeable sword/gun), Vergil (ass kicking katana swordmanship), and emo Dante (half demon half angel). Then I want Capcom to make a specialized game for each/some of them regularly, improving on previous concepts. And then I want Capcom to regularly host a grand poll asking fans what they want for the next DMC game. Basically a miracle.
