Time of Desperation

This blog entry is to tell you guys that I will be leaving for a while. The truth is, I don't feel like leaving Gamespot. However, like many others, I need to solve personal matters that my parents are continually encouraging me to do. One example includes being highly motivated to do better in school. I probably won't post a blog entry next week and I apologize. :( If I can wrap things up as soon as I can and make my life better again, I'll return and talk to everyone a whole lot more. All you guys have been really great and I hope we can still be great friends in the future.

Your friend,

6th Generation Console to 7th Generation Console

For nearly 7 years, I have enjoyed my Playstation 2 console to its max. It has great graphics, a wide variety of video games and online multiplayer that many of us found compelling, as well as rewarding. However, that generation for me is nearly over. It was the time to move on and buy a more powerful console. The only problem is, I don't know what to get. Playstation 3 has games that really interest me, such as Resistance and Killzone. Xbox 360 has awesome games too (Halo and Gears of War). As for the Wii, it allows you to be part of the game rather than mash buttons, which I find to be very innovative. Eventually, I will have to make my final decision in choosing a system without regrets or frustration. Only time will tell, I guess.

P.S: Even though I may get a new console soon, I'll still stick with my good ol' PS2. :D

Harsh Reality

As far as things go for the past week, I've been pretty busy working, playing games and watching news. It was then that I realized that the economy was in a troubled situation. Jobs were being lost, companies went bankrupt and families started to become homeless. In case if anything goes bad in the future, I hope all of you are ready. Prepare for the worst, as I always say, and live your life to the fullest. ;) Good luck to everyone and may video gaming always be with you.

Pet Brutality

At times in our lives, we could have possibly done something wrong that would leave us embarrassed or depressed. One incident that occurred to me was accidentally killing my goldfishes. My dad had bought 2 goldfishes and a fish tank when I was 4 years old. It looked nice and all but if you think about it, a 4 year old can think of weird ideas. For 2-3 weeks, I thought of a stupid idea to try to catch it with my bare hands. I remember putting my hand into the water, trying to catch the poor thing. After about 2 or 3 minutes, I caught it and laughed. I made it look at me and squeezed him to make him open his mouth. It was soon then that my mom came and yelled at me. I quickly put the fish back in but the fish simply floated on the surface. It was dead. Realizing what I've done, I tried to make up my mistake by feeding the other fish. This was also a stupid thing of me as well. One day, I put in too much fish food. When the food is not eaten, it contaminates the water; therefore, poisoning the fish. It died 2-3 days after. I cried after that. After a month, I had killed 2 fishes. Right now, at the age of 17 years old, I feel pretty bad for the fellows.

Perspective on Game Entertainment

When I was young, games were simply thought of as pressing buttons and looking at a screen. I thought of it as a boring hobby. Well, guess I was wrong. I don't know why but games are my next step in entertainment. As you have seen so far, some may think I am a Ratchet and Clank freak but I'll tell you this; I'm not. There are a whole lot of games out there that are probably far better. To name a few are the Metal Gear Solid series and the Resistance series (lol, Resistance is by Insomniac Games too)! However, to those that like Ratchet and Clank, you guys rock. To those that hate Ratchet and Clank, that's perfectly fine. Everyone has their own perspectives on the side of things. In case you guys were wondering, I'll be posting my blog on the weekends. Until then, peace out.

The Beginning

Hello to everyone on Gamespot! Since this is my first time posting this blog entry, I hope all of you can take into consideration that its good or somewhat positive. If not, that's okay. For years I've searched on Gamespot for reviews and videos without realizing that I was able to create my own account. I only have 4 friends now (as of February 1st, 2009) and I plan to have more. If you would like to be friend or would like to ask questions, just go ahead! Starting off my blog are the games that represent my love for video gaming. From my opinion, they are the best. Go Insomniac Games (and High Impact Games)!

PS2 Series:

  • Ratchet and Clank
  • Ratchet and Clank Going Commando
  • Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal
  • Ratchet Deadlocked

PSP Series:

  • Ratchet and Clank Size Matters
  • Secret Agent Clank

PS3 Series:

  • Ratchet and Clank Future Tools of Destruction
  • Ratchet and Clank Future Quest for Booty

P.S: This series should never get old. Anyone agree?
