for some reason, it is impossible for me to get to my next target in the main plot: the Garbage. Im required to go there to get more info on the fang or something, early in the game, and once i reach the detination of the objective arrow which should normally lead to the garbage, it just reverts me back to cordon. It says: would you like to move to another location? and it just flips me 180 degrees. I checked my PDA and noticed that there was an arrow pointing away from the garbage and towards cordon, so i assumed that that was why i couldnt get through. Then i saw that there was an arrow pointing towards the garbage from teh swamps on my PDA, so i headed to the swamps and once i reached where i thought i could get to the the garbage, i once again was stuck. The arrow on the PDA was gone and was pointing away from the garbage again.
What am i supposed to do? is there something i need to accomplish first or wat? its probably something really retarded that i forgot, but help me out here guys.
I installed my 8800GT alpha dog edition video card today, and i noticed that it could recieve 2 6 pin connectors instead of the required 1 6 bpin connector as mentioned on the box. My PSU does not have another 6 pin connector available, would i see a large performance boost if i connected 2 6 pin connectors instead of just 1? What i am asking is, is it worth buying a good PSU just for an additional 6 pin connector for my video card?
GH3 recommends a 2.8 gh dual core, and a 8800 gt. These guys are not genuises when it comes to optimization. Tell you wat, if you want to play GH for pc, forget GH3. You already have the guitar, so look up "frets on fire". You can dowload EVERY song from EVERY guitar hero game + you can technically set up any song to play with frets on fire. All you need is time, but there are many songs out there that you can additionally download that other people have worked on.
Anybody know when the song packswill be available for pc?? And do you think it is possible to create custom soundtracks and import them in GH3 similarly to frets on fire?
im finally playing the game now. Yes, the only way for me to play it was to download a no-cd patch. I would like to remind everyone that i legally bought this game (got it bundled with the x-plorer guitar), but i could not play it even after unistalling all my emulation software.
I just got guitar hero 3 for pc but when i try to run it it tells me that it has detected virtual drivers and does not boot. It tells me that i should deactivate any virtual drivers and disable any emulation software. Even after i have disabled everything, it still gives me the same error. I have tried to contact the support website but i havnt got a response yet, i registered 2 different emails that i have and havnt recieved a confirmation code from them yet. I have power iso and daemon tools installed. But even after i have disabled my virtual drivers and shut down those two programs, guitar hero 3 still gives me that same error. I alsotried using a few different sd4 hiders,including the protection that daemon tools offers,with no success in booting the game.Anybody know how to get this game to work???
