OH THANK SPAGHETTI!!!! I have been having this SAME issue (ps3) but when I *DO* manage to join a game, like a couple mineutes in, it kicks me saying failed to connect.. apparently PC players had it happen too, but they found a fix, I have not found ANY fix for console. It's pissing me off, I spent so much money for dlc's and now the game is soo unplayable! =\ Too bad ea/dice whatever, is so concerned with BF3 to care though.

I wouldn't consider it boosting, because they aren't taking turns getting certain tags or kills. I just see it as, a way to change things up a lil. But yes, it would be great for a patch to allow more controll over it. It really just feels like vanilaa servers by dice, just usually with more children hosting now.

Meh, yeah I usually just let it be once I ask them to just abide the rules, if they reply with smacktalk, I message the admin. I realize it's just a game and all, but someone ACTUALLY paid money to host that server ya knnow?

Does this happen to you?

You join a rented server game. The rules are set to be unique, like pistols and knives only, or knives only, rockets only etc.

And while you think, "Oh this could be fun" and you play BY the rules... you get these 10 year olds thinking they are badass, and uses anything but the weapons for the game rules. 

You send them a message, not TRYING to be a jerk, saying something like: "hey just play by the rules man, alright?"

and they reply "YOU JUST JELLY YOU GOT KILLED BY A LOWER LEVEL BITSH NUUB LAWL"

..... Seriously, I have just stopped sending a message asking them to play by rules, and contacting admin, which I knew personally last time it happened, and just leaving myself.

Thing is, I like servers with those types of rules, because it changes things up, adn allows me to gain more service stars and dog tags which I would normally have a hard time getting in a normal game.

And before some smartass comes in and says "well just buy your own server hur duur" I am managing my money which is tight right now. and I would buy a one day or week server, but that is just pointless unless I want to go out of my way to advertise it. 

Anyways, does this happen alot?

To the first Bad company game. Yes I lied to get you in here. Anyways, the BFBC2 forum is pretty much dead.. And I seriously need help.

I KNOW people are having this issue other than myself.

I get into an online game, whether its, multiplayer, onslaught, or vietnanm MP.... and within 3-5 minutes, it boots me, telling me I have connection issues, or I was kicked for lack of activity. The lack of activity message would show even if I didn't connect to the game! 

And I know some people have found solutions, but I don't know what those solutions to fix this are. Has anyone gone back to BC2?? And had this issue?

How do I fix it? I miss the the XM8 T.T

I just want to know what the point was, for nerfing frag rounds, and stat wiping people who got MAV kills... if almost EVERY fricken rented server, was gunna implement the rules: "no frag rounds or sniping".... And sometimes it didnt just stop at frags, they would just ban shot guns all together. 

And this is form someone who didn't even USE the USAS and never even tried to kill with the MAV.

People who rent, put sooo many restrictions on. Hell one server I joined banned grenades! AND rifle/ballistic scopes. Fricken pansies.

My M1911's are missing. I just played today, and they weren't there anymore. I JUST used them for the first time in weeks yesterday.
