Ok, on the 13 of June I started my first job so I figured that I'd spend the last $100 that was in my bank before I get my first pay-check, so I went to the shops to buy a new game for my collection and I was thinking of getting Zelda: Twilight Princess for my Gamecube. Now there's a problem looking for Gamecube games at shops, Gamecube was never really that popular so now that the Wii came out Gamecube games are really, really hard to find. I looked in all the game selling shops in 2 major shopping centre's and all I could find was Twilight Princess for the Wii, the only place I have found it for Gamecube is on eBay second hand, I'd prefer to buy it new but I think I'll just get it from eBay later on after I get some more cash.

So that I couldn't find it anywhere and I didn't what to leave empty-handed so I decided I would get something else. So there I was looking for Zelda in an EB Games, and while I was there I figured that I'd look at the DS games at the same time because they were having a sale, when I picked up Animal Crossing: Wild World, I had previously been looking at Animal Crossing for the Gamecube for a little while and I though that I'd give this a shot and it was $20 off so I got it.

Now I still had $50 to spend and I was going though another store called Game. Now I have never been a fan of Square Enix because I found that every game they made was crap, but me being a devoted fan to Squaresoft's work that still isn't going stopping me from playing/finishing the Final Fantasy series, so I've played and finished Kingdom Hearts (Squaresoft) and found it really good, but I never like the idea of Enix's Kingdom Hearts 2 but I sore it there for $40 brand new (It was around $100 - $120 when it first came out) so I also decided to get it as well.

I've decided to wait on playing Kingdoms Hearts 2 until my brother finishes the first one (me and him have the same opinion on Squarsoft and Square Enix, and we watch our anime together so we have a bond when it comes to games and anime), so until he's finished playing the first one I'll just play Animal Crossing.

I don't expect anybody to read all of that so if you did or even if you made an attempt, thank you (I can get really boring).

100 Posts (3rd Blog).

Wow one hundred posts... ...OK, I know that it's not that bigger thing I mean I've been talking to people who have posts past 25,000, I mean that's dedication or they have been on here forever (or they have no life (like me:cry: )). I have also seen people writing about themselves passing 100 or 10,000 posts and almost everybody has a "My first blog" (like me:cry: ), I guess I'm just amazed that we may sometimes yell, murder and trample on (I was going to use rape, but yeah) other players (like me:cry: ) but we all have something in common:D.

I know that this is a short blog but whatever.

Movie Blog (2nd Blog).

by on

I've been flying through forums and there is a lot of down talk of Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. Now there was probably a thousand different/better things they could have spent there money on, but what's done is done. I for one think that it was a top movie especially the end part and the end song, but if you love Final Fantasy you have to have some appreciation of the movie they made. I would have to rate Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within 9 out of 10.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children was ok, it had some great moments in it like most of the sword fights (Big sword fighting fan here:D), but I can't help getting the feeling that Square Enix is just trying to milk Final Fantasy for all its worth. The only thing or benefit Squaresoft had from merging with Enix was to keep them alive, I guess truly great RPG games like Final Fantasy VII, VIII and IX aren't appreciated as much as they should be. The only reason in my opinion that everybody likes Final Fantasy VII, is because everybody's seen one of the games (beside the original) or the movie, and hasn't experienced the original game. As for Advent Children, I would rate it 7.5 out of 10.

Other then Square movies, I really liked the latest Will Smith movie I Am Legend. I like pretty much any movie Will's been in like Independence Day (Like the scene were he "welcomes" the alien:lol: ), but I think I Am Legend has to be his best movie so far. Most horror movies I've seen rarely live up to is name, but parts in I Am Legend even made me jump a little. Apart from that the only other movie I could talk about is Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shambala, another good movie because even if you haven't watched the 51 Episode series first you still can understand what's going on, but like myself I would suggest watching the series first, it does help and it makes the movie better to.

Apart from that nothing else really appeals to me so I'm off.

First started gaming (1st Blog).

by on

Were to begin... ...started playing games from the age of 6, my first game I owned and finished was Pokemon Yellow Version on a Gameboy pocket when I was 10, before that I was playing games like the Adam's Family and The Simpson's on SNES. We got a Playstation when was 10 as well, the first game we got for that was Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. My best friend got me into Final Fantasy VII and VIII when I was 9 and I got them as Christmas presents when I was 10 turning 11 (Birthdays in January), I still remember waking up at 1:00am and going back to bed at 6:00am just to play it, I was so addicted to Final Fantasy VIII.

I first finished FF7 when I was 14, I finished FF9 when I was 15 and I first finished FF8 when I was 17, I've finished FF7 a total of 4 times, FF9 2 times and FF8 1 time. I have no idea why it took me so long to finish Final Fantasy VIII, but I think its because I kept getting to Adel in Lunatic Pandora and couldn't beat her, well without killing Rinoa. Other then that I've now finished FFTA 2 times, FFCC 1 time, FF4 1 time, Breath of Fire V - Dragon Quarter 3 times, Star Wars - KOTOR 2 times, Star Wars KOTOR II 4 times, most of the Pokemon series a million times and the list keeps going.

That's mostly it for now so I'm signing off.
