well two things, it may be childish but i know plenty of people willing to play it as a 4 player game any day, who are also not children. Also its one of the highest rated series this gen, and pretty damn successful too

they should have an option to switch between squad and team chat imo

The split-screen on PS3 is laggy as hell.

not for me, i play with my roomates/ bro splitscreen alot and i dont notice any lag, maybe a dip in fps loading a lvl but thats it

Not even a dispute 360 has better voice chat simple as that, I don't see how anyone can argue that.

cross game chat is about the only difference, voice quality is all dependent on the headset you use for the ps3, alot of the cheap blutooth headsets are going to be bad quality but a decent mic either usb or blutooth isnt that expensive. beyond that there really is no difference in sound quality

Now whenever I go back and listen to people on PS3, my ears bleed. I honestly don't even feel like talking to my friends on there when we play online.. Just put my headset to the side/mute everyone. Surely the fact you pay for Xbox 360's online isn't reason enough, or is it?

Crazy thing is, the Xbox is improving it even further soon enough. Why cant the PS3?

well Sony cant even get cross talk chat down, they just dont have the software people, and thats why Kinect will be so much more intergrated into xbox live than PS3 Move to PSN.

thats not completely true since they have more then enough ram reserved for the OS durring gameplay for background apps, like custom music for the games that actually use it on the ps3...trust me RAM or processing power wouldnt be the problem for cross voice chat

i use a usb headset for my ps3 atm, i used to use blue-tooth before but the voice quality sucked really hard compaired to the usb headset i use now, i think it has to do with the bit-rate transfer for blue tooth devices, and projectnatalfan, nothing you said was relevent no one was talking about party chat or move/kinect. and considering that move actually has core games that have multiplayer (socom 4/killzone 3/GT5) makes your logic flawed

oh and if you go with a blue-tooth device, use the official ps3 headset or somethingf that costs atleast 50 bucks for decent quality voice chat
