while this option is always nice, i don't think that they should do this. MS is clearly showing the kinect as a peripheral device instead of the center piece of their console. Im not so sure why they are shifting. Probably to garner support from the "hardcore gamer". But the wii proliferated and excelled being enjoyed by everyone (hardcore gamers u can admit punching someone in the face virtually was exceptionally fun) and controllerless gaming was the next logical step which MS jumped on. I was genuinely excited about the technology the kinect had to offer. Now i think the mismanagement of marketing, and yes it is all about how they have marketed the console, we will miss out on an opportunity to truly have an optimized hands free experience, all for the reason that MS is scared to fully make the jump.
