Who else thought the Kaiser Chiefs did a great cover of The Who's "Pinball Wizard"??

This is what I mean about a whole era of music being ignored (and for those old enough to remember them they were one of the biggest bands of the early to mid 70's)OmenUK
Yeah it was brilliant cover. They get a lot of hate but I think they're a great band.
For the 90s they could of picked from a wide range, but ended up with Spice Girls. To name a few Jamiroquai, New Order, Pulp, Feeder, Stereophonics, Radiohead and The Verve. Then again they should of got New Order and John Barnes to sing World in Motion, that would of made it the best closing ceremonies ever.
Totally agree, I stopped supporting Man U a few years back. Now I follow my local team. They might not be that high up in the leagues but all of them are local and play for the love of the sport.nah im the least excited about football as i have been for about as long as i can remember
not cos of this well behaved polite athletes vs overpayed orrible footballers nonsense just the prems lost it for me, 10 months of which one of the half a billion £ teams will sky w*nk over the most? its got boring

[QUOTE="hesel"]Don't worry The Who are closing the ceremony and if they can't save it, may God have mercy on our souls.Zaibach
ITS SUPPOSED TO BE A PARTY !
Ha-ha I know, but it still can't stop the grumpy Brit in me getting out. :(Yeah, I am lost at the Octopus too... :|[QUOTE="killa4lyfe"][QUOTE="jointed"] In front of a giant octopus.....and now there's some b**** driving around in a Bentley. Zaibach
Gotta admit the Octopus has me stumped :?
From Wiki: "The octopus is often used as a metaphor for a group or organization which is perceived as being powerful, manipulative or bent on domination." Now I get it, we are going to take over the world again. :PFor anyone wondering what the hell Batman and Robin were doing there.
The episode was from when Del and Rodney (Only Fools and Horses) have broken down in the middle of the town, dressed up as Batman and Robin for a fancy dress party. Clip in questionclick
