Playing Final Fantasy VII for the first time a decade after its release did not take away the games brilliance. The story, atmosphere, environments, battle system and everything else are superb. Now, I've never been... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful

Twilight Princess is a very good game, a great game, but as far as Zelda games go its a disapointment. It follows the same formula thats been in place since A Link to the Past and even the original game but where it devi... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
NEW Super Mario Brothers successfully returns to the series' 2D roots but keeps a lot of advances in place that have been around since the transition to 3D. The game borrows from all the old titles and while its more lik... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Wik is one of the few really unique titles on Live Arcade and so it really stands out. The point of the game is to protect certain bugs from other bugs so that you can send them down to your companion below. To do this y... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Echoes is a very good game but its not quite the game Metroid Prime 1 was. The problem here is that while it seemingly improves on the original in every way theres too much detracting from it to make it as good of a game... Read Full Review0 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Hotel Dusk is a new take on the old point and click adventure genre that is done very well. The graphics are nice enough but its more the presentation that won me over with characters animated uniquely and beautifully. ... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Clearly in the presentation department Gears is incredible. No game has ever looked as good and few have sounded this great. The story seems deeper than it is as you mostly focus on the combat and your unit rather than t... Read Full Review3 of 5 users found the following review helpful
Like the first KOTOR, The Sith Lords is amazing. The story, characters, combat, and leveling, as well as the freedom of choice are unprecedented in video games. There are problems with this sequel however, namely the gam... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent
A good game overall, but its getting old in its 4th installment. The same problems exist today that did in the 1st game.
Double Agent doesn't stray too far from standard Splinter Cell gameplay. The average level is still sneaking around getting stealth kills and completing the same sort of objectives which by now is starting to get a bit o... Read Full Review2 of 3 users found the following review helpful
Overall Wii Sports is a fun multiplayer experience and more often than not a good showcase for the wiimote.
Wii Sports has 5 games: Baseball, Golf, Boxing, Tennis and Bowling. As well as training mini-games for each and daily tests of your overall skill in these games. The quality of each of these parts differs greatly but as ... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Mario Kart DS is worthy of the franchise for certain. While it doesn't live up to its Nintendo 64 predecessor I feel it surpasses Double Dash. The graphics are reminiscent of Mario Kart 64 but with full 3D character mod... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Stays true to its predecessor and adds a amazing physics engine. You can look past the technical problems.
Review based on play with the Xbox 360 console after the emulation fix Half-Life 2 is really great at keeping you immersed in the game better than any other FPSs out there and even better than its predecessor whi... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
I really shouldn't write a review for this game as this clearly isn't a game meant for me. I didn't mind Marvel vs. Capcom but my fighter is more the Super Smash Brothers than this. Honestly though this game seems to be ... Read Full Review0 of 8 users found the following review helpful
Absolutely the deepest game I have every played. And unlike Morrowind its pretty and accessable too.
I got rid of Morrowind after a week. It was too Dungeons and Dragons-ish for me and thats not what I wanted. The open-ended-ness was cool but at the same time I didn't feel like there was a point to the on screen action.... Read Full Review3 of 3 users found the following review helpful
Call of Duty 2 isnt a killer app but it is definitely the best 360 launch title and certainly a whole lot of fun.
Call of Duty 2 may very well be the best historic WWII shooter yet. Throughout the game I found myself in awe of the AI and the presentation. Enemies are always on the move providing each other covering fire and attempti... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful

I have always been a fan of the games in the Tom Clancy brand series, both those done by Red Storm and the Splinter Cell series. However the Ghost Recon games never really impressed me. The graphics were muddled, the gam... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful

Asteroids was a great game but Asteroids Hyper 64 doesn't expand upon it enough to make it worth owning. Basicly you get colorful backrounds and 3D graphics to make the game look nice. The extra gimmicky additions actua... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful

It has to be said that DOOM still remains at the top of the list for the best games of all time even today.
As DOOM is probably the best game ever made, it follows that the Ultimate DOOM would certainly be great as well. My review is based on my original go through on DOOM I and the extra episode. Compared to the shooters ou... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful

Rome is a deep very immersive simulation like RTS and really defines what a war strategy game should be.

Shadow of the Colossus is the years best PS2 game and may be one of the top few games of this generation.

The title is deceptive because if you're exoecting a Sonic game like on Genesis you'll be disapointed.
The sequel to Sonic Adventure improved on the good parts of its prequel but the weaknesses were made even worse. The Sonic/ Shadow speed based stages were exactly like you'd want them to be. If the original Genesis games... Read Full Review2 of 12 users found the following review helpful
