First of all, those figures only account for May, a month in which MP3 was available for half of it and not yet on PC, as well as only NA sales, and from a source that isn't entirely reliable.

I have been in the forum world since 2003,and I have never in my life used any serious abusive language.But something has compelled me to do it.This topic is solely for those idiotic GTA motherf*cking fanboys who every freaking time whine like toddlers for a GTA 5 on every max payne 3 update,even though they know Rockstar doesn't give a rat's ass about them,and will release only when it's time.Here I might state some facts which I have mentioned before.


In my opinion and many others,Rockstar should never have released the GTA 5 trailer back in november.Due to that move,those idiots have arisen.First I wasn't bothered about that,as long as it wasn't affecting the Max Payne 3 promotion.But now when it has impacted the Max Payne 3 sales,it has hit me in the heart.I know solely the GTA factor can't be blamed for the sales,but I guess it started from there only.

I am deeply hurt by hearing that Max Payne 3 could sell 440K copies in US for May.A game I have been waiting since 2003.I remember I couldn't control myself shouting in perfect enthusiasm on 23rd March 2009 when Max Payne 3 was announced,then when Max Payne 3 was globally hated by fans due to the 'change in atmosphere' with a 'fat bald dude' according to the fans,and then MP3 faded away for almost 2 years,and I had given all hope.Then it came back in march 2011,and I was like reborn from my excitement,and thus started the biggest Rockstar ad campaign ever.And to my surprise,everybody(almsot) started appreciating it,as it was bringing all the factors that made a perfect max payne game.Various forums,blogs,critic,gaming sites praised it for its cinematic experience,visuals,fluid gameplay,and fantastic storyline and voice acting by James Mccaffrey.I couldn't believe this was all happening,and I was really happy than I ever was.

Then rockstar made a mistake:released the GTA 5 trailer.While I,too am a GTA fan,I wasn't happy with this move,because I knew those who were asking for GTA 5 earlier,now would increase in number and become uncontrollable.Every freaking site,video,news-I could see several GTA 5 comments.It was then I realized that the gaming fraternity has reduced to mostly dickwits.Dickwits because there was no crying for a GTA game after GTA 3 was released back in the early 2000s.Nobody whined about another GTA game after San Andreas,while other Rockstar titles were being promoted.It all started after 2010 I guess.And I also saw many of them ignoring Max Payne 3 and saying they will boycott the game until R* gives us some GTA 5 information.What the f*ck?If rockstar did so,the whining would be even more,simple as that.

And now when it has affected sales,I lost my balance of decency,and came on every forum.From every forums I have read,almost all the fans and newcomers are saying that this game is phenomenal and many saying a contendor for GOTY.I am not citing the critical reception here,just displaying the love for MP3 by people,and despite that,it gave those underwhelming sale numbers.

Now I assume some might agree with me,and rest ,like 90% are going to abuse me,or criticize me descently for my hatred towards GTA franchise(which is not true) and probably my facts.I am not afraid of that outcome.I just hope when GTA 5 promotion starts,there would be tremendous whining about Max Payne 4,so much,that will make the people lose their minds.What I am saying is really dumb,but this is my f*cking frustration coming out.

2 weeks to be precise.Max Payne 3 released on May 15th.And these numbers are for the month of may.And to be more precise the units sold were 440K.Ghost recon sold 400K,that's why it came on 3rd position and max payne 3 on 2nd.

Yeah,but in the article it was told that it was actually Inner Circle that forcd Max to shift to Brazil.So many parts from the previous games can come back

Seems you missed one of the observal features in the environment which Max Payne games are famous for.When in Max Payne 2 part III Prolouge max is is running in search of gun,he gets it and shoots the commando and the other guy and then when he reaches the other room theres a computer displayed there.If you go near it and press E,you will notice a screen comes by,and Bravura is shown being treated by a set of doctors,and Max said,"bravura was too stubborn to die"

About Inner circle there numerous poeple involved in the Inner Circle.Like in Max Payne 1,there was only Alfred Woden,then in Max Payne 2 one more guy called Corcoran and some more people were shown.
