Thanks for the review Kevin, Just Like Brad @giantbomb you both did a great job of pointing out it's strengths and weaknesses. Unlike most sites that just killed the game because they had already prejudged this title. I am playing it, I will probably enjoy the single player and then move on to the stack of games waiting to be played and the ones coming out this week. you are one of the few reviewers on this site that I like to read, keep it up!
What an irresponsible piece of journalism by McShea. To only see the game for a couple of minutes and then to write a reactive piece to what he saw is a journalism 101 NO NO! He is 100% wrong in his position, Goodrich answered the Authenticity question over and over again and that still wasn't good enough for him which blew my mind after reading the article and then watching the video. Goodrich said to him you can't simulate what happens on the battlefield and that wasn't good enough for him either. Good rich is making a game it should be fun, he stated what was authentic and why they are doing certain things the way they are, I give him credit for not losing his cool with what was being said to him.
On another note I respect the Gamespot heads for jumping on twitter and defending McShea's position publically , I like it when your boss has your back! At the same time I also hope Davidson and Calvert take him behind closed doors and tell to never make that mistake again. It was EMBARRASSING! I miss the old gamespot!
Played the game for 4 hours yesterday and was hooked. I am not a big fighting fan but wanted to give it a try and was very happy I did.I don't care what this reviewer scored it, I don't need someone to tell me this game is fantastic in the 9-10 range!
