COD 2's online is pretty cool, but ever since 3 came out, the number of players online has been dwindling. I think COD 3's multiplayer is way better anyway. It actually has some different roles for characters (assault, scout, medic) much like Battlefront, which I find is awesome. It makes the team-based games way more intense and interesting. I can't comment on COD 3's single player though, as I've only played 2 levels (too busy with the multiplayer :D ). Overall, I'd say go with COD 3.

I personally hate Carmine. In my opinion, his helmet makes him looks sort of stupid. I prefer playing as Dom; I don't know why, I guess I just think he looks the coolest.

Also, Carmine was NOT killed by the Beserker. Carmine is killed earlier by a sniper after he comments that his gun is jammed. Another soldier who looks nearly identical to Carmine is killed later by the Beserker. This guy was part of Alpha squad.

To comment on another thing, I don't believe Dom ever said "I hate those Carmine guys." However, if someone can confirm that he did, please tell us the chapter/section it's in. However, I doubt that "carmine" is just a type of guy, because they always call Carmine "Carmine" like it's his name.

I thought the demo was pretty fun. I admit it was a bit repetitive, but I really liked the upgrade system. I didn't get much of a chance to collect the agility orbs (my time ran out), but I did get to max out my strength, and throwing trucks was pretty fun. On my next play through, I'll probably try to get the agility orbs and start jumping on some rooftops. I'm probably gonna buy the game, and part of it is because of the beta. I'm a pretty big Halo fan, and since the other two options didn't go so well with me, this is pretty much the only other chance I'll get. In my opinion, I think that the Halo beta is worth $30, and Crackdown is fun enough to be worth more than the other $30.
