In old PS2 days 60fps was something so obvious that nobody would even mention it. Today? Is it some kind of a joke? And while I can still see the point of mentioning it as a plus for a true new gen AAA game, I feel like being treated like some idiot when reading all over the news, twitters, etc. that a last gen game with higher res and some cosmetic changes will actually run in 60fps!!! Wow, seriously??
Sorry for that rant, I am a PS3 and PS4 owner myself and am really happy to see this game coming out on PS4, but after all the hype on how massively the current gen consoles are superior to the former ones, 10 times more powerful and what not, I just can't brain the sudden fascination with 60fps in already dated 1080p.
And, yes, I do realize that our expectations for at least 1080p/60fps in every title have been abruptly brought down, but this shouldn't make us acting like this.
@sargentpsgamer @WolfgarTheQuiet oh that's tough...in Tokyo u can get unlimited 100 or 200Mbps for like 40 USD. Maybe slower in rural area, but definitely without limits.
Just visited TGS. Thought I can play this Killzone, when I realized there are like million people waiting in the line haha. Thank you very much. At least I could try Forza 5 and Titanfall on Xbox One, as not so many people there :)
@Xristophoros Japanese players will deal with that, a bit different mentality. They mainly dont get bought by visuals but playability. Lots of them still play PS2, and the variety of games even on PS3 quite huge. Thanks to late debut the game lineup at the start will be bigger

@freedom01 @gornes79 good point, sure I know the number of games is huge, you can still see people buying used games for PS2. It's just I was kinda waiting hehe. I am gonna see Tokyo Game Show, get a taste, then not 2 but 5 month wait...but yeah still lots of games on PS3
@Mega_Loser I managed it but had to have the video size relatively small; big size means you need to cross your eyes more. Try to reduce the size or move your eyes away from the screen.
