Which ones in deadrising are the hardest?  I just started playing deadrising and I got 20\50 and I'm currently going for 50 suvivors and getting all the psychopaths and photos...should have around 40 when I finish the current game i'm in...then I'll go for the rest of them.Aftermath6

I've got over half the points in Dead Rising, and one of them stands out as something I'm just not going to do:  7 Day Survivor.  You have to play Infinite Mode and survive for seven days, which will take about 14 hours.  You can't save for the whole time you play it... what if you die in hour thirteen?  Well, sucks for you, no points.  Plus, you'd either have to leave your 360 on and let it explode from overheating or play it straight through for 14 hours (something I just don't have the patience for).  Not happening. :P

The Saint achievement (50 survivors) is probably pretty difficult as well, but I plan on going for it.  I got about 35 survivors on my first playthrough, so it can't be too hard.

Thanks. :)

The GS hardware page for the 360 says cell phone headsets will work, but I'm skeptical... I won't be going that route unless I hear someone say they had really good results with it.

I've only had my 360 for about a week and a half, and I've run in to an unfortunate problem with my headset! My cats thought it would be a good idea to chew my headset into three different pieces.  :(  I obviously want to replace the headset, but I want a little advice first.  I've heard the wired headsets have a bad habit of shorting or cutting out the sound after about a month.  This would make the wireless seem like the better choice, but it's both more expensive and, IMO, less comfortable.  Has anyone had bad or good experience with either of these items? Has anyone tried third party or cell phone headsets that work really well?

Don't know about that, but there have been no shortage of 'wii in nursing home' and 'my mommy hated videogames up until the Wii articles/threads and Nintendo itself has stated that many of the gamers they have drawn are new gamers put off by old school controllers/game design/difficulty.  That is one of the reasons Miyamoto cited for the poor sales of Twilight Princess.  Minigame collections have been very well received on the Wii, but such collections have sold poorly outside of Nintendo circles (admittedly, Mario Party 7 sold almost as many copies in 2 months as RE4 did in 12 on the GC but I can't think of a successful minigame collection not on a Nintendo system).  As I stated before, sales will provide an indicator as to what type of gamers are buying Wiis. CarnageHeart

What I intended to say was that it's a different market than the PS3/360 market.  The same types of people are, in general, not buying both systems.  Wii is going for the type of people who like to play games as social experiences, whereas the PS3 and 360 are going mainly for the "hardcore" crowd.  Of course their are exceptions, but this is mainly what I see.  So Nintendo is in their own "ocean."  They've created their own system that is quite different from what the other two competitors have offered and appeals to a different market on the whole.

There's a forum for this kind of discussion called "System Wars."  I sent you the link in a PM earlier.

No one can doubt that the Wii has absolutely been a success for Nintendo.  They really have grabbed a different market.  Wiis are fun to play and very accessible.  I'm glad to see Nintendo succeeding after so many people doubted.  On the flipside, it's just as easy to see that the Wii has grabbed an entirely different market.  I don't want a Wii.  I like single player games, and I don't think the Wii can really deliver those in a satisfying way.  The reality is that most people don't really enjoy sitting down and playing 20 hour long single player quests, even if I do.  That's not why most people enjoy video games, making the Wii great for a wider audience.  I think the guys from Microsoft really do have a point.  I just bought a 360 last week.  I'm loving the games, and Xbox Live is brilliant design.  Microsoft (and Sony if you're willing to lay down your $599) will continue to make the "gamers" happy; they'll continue to please those of us who want more than to bowl on our TVs.  I think they'll both be successful in the end because of the duality--they target different people.  For as long as I was skeptical of Nintendo's "blue ocean" strategy, it worked for them and they were absolutely right.  Now they're being rewarded for it.

hi, i have a doubt, my is failing in reading discs, so im thinking about selling the poor lunchbox, but i will miss it even though the wii will read cube discs, so here's my question: should I sell my cube and buy a new one, keep it, or sell it and save for next gen? santiago_gallo

I'd just get a new one, considering how cheap it is. :)

Do so, it's great fun.

I agree, DDR is great.  :)  I don't have Mario Mix, though, I've got it on my PS2. :P

Um, I got a question,

What would you compare Eternal Darkness to and What is the game play like?

gamer4life41691

Eternal Darkness is a survival horror game that's probably most like Silent Hill or Fatal Frame.  The game play is pretty traditional of adventure games, except there are twelve different characters to play as.  A lot of the game revolves around combat, solving puzzles, and the magick system.  The best part of this game is its story, which is phenomenal.  Definitely get it... it's TEH BEST GAME EVAR... in my opinion, anyway. ;)
