Just pay for Denuvo for a few months/year. Problem solved. Obviously this is a limited solution since a scene could potentially start again to crack it consistently, but for now it's basically works.

Do these corporate C-whatevers actually believe we buy this shit?

We bought the "Triple-A" BS, so...

In early development, not confirmed specs or even properly greenlit for launch. Might be a Playstation 6 family product. Also the latest leaks on Playstation 5 Pro if you watch the rest of the video.

Chill folks. It's optional.

The problem is that we were asking for hard difficulty from the get go, and we get this that sounds like shitty level scaling. Hopefully the implementation is better than what the description makes it sound like.

@Mozelleple112: Look at the Digital foundry video if you put a 3070 at console settings it gets more performance. It's just the typical assumption that consoles run at max settings when they are not.

Seems to be a proper next gen game. Even with raytracing off, it uses software raytracing so it's always demanding. System requirements make sense and consoles aren't made of magic.

That is probably outdated information since you can see that it states that Starfield is first half 2023 and it didn't make it. Also during the hearings plenty of people testified and at least two people talked about this subject and mentioned the year 2028 as the tentative release for this game also mentioning the possibility that it would be a launch title for the next XBOX console.

I think that person misinterpreted history or explained it in a confusing way. All role playing games are basically descendants of DnD. Early RPG videogames because of technical limitations could not mimic DnD properly, so they focused more on the combat aspect which is basically the dungeon crawler subgenre. This is obviously following the tenants of DnD structure which includes turn based combat.

This video probably explains it better and expands on the subject.
