I never understood the hype to this game. I figured it appealed to a different audience. IMO, I think it was marketed for what it was, exploration driven, and although a marvel of technology in its own right, these games tend to be miles wide but only an inch deep.

@Mirish4 dota 2 is a great f2p example as a consumer. for someone that couldnt give a crap about cosmetic changes, there is great satisfaction per $.

sucks that the new c&c will be free to play. ea is gaming on that "free" now means expect to pay 200.oo for a 60 dollar game. havent been tricked yet but im sure i dont speak for the majority, whom im sure financially support this biz prac
