I'm sorry it's really late, but this week and last I have been scraping through my finals at college, and even though I have completely messed them all up I'm glad there over and done with :P
I wanted to get round to doing this several days ago but I made the mistake of going to the blood donor's even though I was exhausted, and for the first time "at the blood donor's" I almost fainted, and it was kind of scary having about 10 nurses and a doctor rushing around trying to help me
I have spent the past few days literally being sick and dying of the flew... but I know it's no excuse, so I'm sorry...
Anyhoo without further ado...
This months buys have been brought to you by several bottles of Bacardi & Sambuca a couple of tubs of cookie dough ice cream and several severe beating from my brothers and sister
I know I was against paying so much for this plus having to buy the game separate but my brother and sister wanted it as well so we all chipped in... and it was well worth it :D
Same story with this really... Me and my brother wanted the game so I had the idea of getting the Special Edition, admittedly not the smartest idea I have had...
Rock Band (Xbox 360)
Time spent: 14 hours
Even though I have only been playing the guitar on this game (and loving it)
My sister has been hogging the mic while she can and my brother has been turning Into Animal off the Muppets on the drums. It's an awesome game and when you can actually get 4 people to play togeather at the same time it turns into something much more than you can put down in words. I still don't agree with the price tag it has been given over here, but if your lucky or just feel like splashing out on something you won't be able to put down, then by all means go for it.
Neverwinter Nights 2 (PC)
Time spent: 2 hours
I admit that I haven't spent as much time on this game as it deserves but now that college is over and done with, that is something that I might be able to rectify.
I enjoyed what time I have spent on it, it's just that it does really require all your time to play through all of the little side quests and the main story of the game itself.
Lost Odyssey (Xbox 360)
Time spent: 3 hours
This has kind of been following the same story as Neverwinter Nights as in, that I have been neglecting this game and not putting in the time it really deserves. I like the story, as much as I have seen that is and the characters are great, along with the graphics, even though one of them is annoying. This is one of the games I hope I can actually get time to sit down and play sometime soon :P
Grand Theft Auto IV (Xbox 360)
Time spent: 32 hours
This is the game that I have been spending the most time with so far... and can you blame me :P
I was against this game since before it came out, I don't really know why but I have never really liked the GTA series and was sceptical about this one as well... but I can safly say without a shadow of a dout that this has changed my mind.
With all the things going on around you in Liberty City it's hard not to get distracted and just watch the time go by, spending time going out on dates, bowling, playing pool, playing on arcade machines, drinking, internet cafes, darts and not to forget those peskey little flying rats are just some of the things that get you distracted from the missions your actually supossed to be doing :P
With so many things going on I have only completed around 30% of the game, but my brother flew through it and said it was great... I just hope he doesn't spoil the ending for me.
And for a personal...
