@Krauklis @Riddick123 @funkmugumbo @Gamesfetch You are correct that you can buy the unlocks, but paying to win in this case is usually done with PC upgrades. Red dot sights and grenade launchers won't do you any good if you have no idea what the map is like, how the gun handles, what to listen for and so forth.
"fans want battlefield year round" So what does that even have to do with pumping out games? I still play 1942. Never stopped working. BF doesn't shut down while the next one is being made. My only issue with BF4 is that it isn't coming out 2015. Not saying it doesn't look great, but that's what I had expected from this franchise. I also hope they take a break from modern day with BF5. 2142 with frosbite 3 (3.5/4) would be a pant messer.
