I have the exact same problem, and that didn't work for me

2001 is certainly the most intelligent sci-fi movie ever made, and you can see it's influence on Star Wars, but the last half hour of the film made no sense. It was like Kubrick was trying to be too obtuse to make you realise that 'hey sci-fi films can be serious too!'

I think Clockwork Orange is much better.

The last half hour of the film actually made a ton of sense.

Mass Effect, when Kaiden volunteers to go on the suicide mission and has a brief respectful moment with Shepard. It was handled with so much class, the writing and voice acting equally perfect. Other than that, the ending of Half-Life 2 Ep. 2 was incredibly moving. FFs and MGSs don't do it for me at all; too much melodrama, too little quality writing

[QUOTE="AAllxxjjnn"]I found it to be extremely boring. Seriously, i dont know why people love it so much.blackngold29
You aren't analyzing it hard enough, or you didn't watch more than a half hour.

No, you either get it or you don't. It's my second favorite movie ever, only beaten by Taxi Driver.

99% of video games have like the worst voice acting and diologe ever.

It's amazing how much effort devs put into graphics and physics and such, but they almost never put any effort into a half decent script or even talented voice actors.

Half-life and psyconauts are like the two games in history to do it right.

Wow, really? Only two games have good dialogue? You're forgetting Bioware's entire catalog, all the GTA games, Max Payne 1 and 2, Blizzard's entire catalog...far more than two measly games.

It's extremely polished. I'll give it that. Otherwise, same old everything. Overly streamlined engine. No physics. Unrealistic AI on veteran. AWFUL multiplayer maps. Quite honestly, COD4 has the most boring uninspired MP maps I've ever seen. How about something cool? Why not fight in a grocery store? A movie theatre? Something awesome?

Because it has the best games. I don't care about Blu-Ray or Wi-Fi adaptors or any other superfluous features the PS3 has. The games are indisputably better.

[QUOTE="SexyPorkins"]Blah blah blah....every corporation is out to make money. You probably cannot name a single one who is in business for the betterment of the consumer.Palantas

Yeah, no kidding. I've said basically the exact same thing before. People get mad that their 360 goes out, that's fine. People are upset that Microsoft "betrayed" them or something like that, try to be less naïve.

Took the words out of my mouth, dude. Everyone thinks Microsoft is Satan; they are just like every other corporation. Excellent signature too.

I just saw the footage of Fox news in wich Mass effect is dissed. But to those who saw it you kow they invited a video game "expert" from spike tv. The fact that he is a video game "expert" is still questionable but the way he stood up for video games just made me proud and the way he put that phsycology lady in her place was preety cool. Who agrees?JaviBonilla23

Geoff Keighley not a videogame expert? He's one of the industry's best journalists.

why do people use the term "hardcore" like its some sort of compliment on here?

A "hardcore gamer" is far from a complement in my book...

Fiji-Water

I think it's because hardcore gamers follow the industry and buy more games than just Madden, Halo, and GTA.
