I have vista, but only got it because it was oem and cheap, cause i bought a new pc (for supreme commander :P ). I wouldn't recommend buying it specifically, it just isn't worth it. There aren't enough new features to charge the retail price they do. Oh and this article is a bit dodgy, they bearly knocked flip3d down, only admitting that they still use alt-tab. You know why? because it is a useless gimmick. argh.

good selection, though i am very surprised to not see UT 2007 or SupCom, though supcom does come out so soon they might of not counted it.

personally i think the price level is too high, when with that amount i could put together my own top class pc, which would have better specs than any of the 3 n.g. consoles. Therefore for me they will have to do something different, so i will be trying out a wii, but waiting till they sell it without wii sports. also , on the subject of the hdd/blu-ray, i believe at the moment it is pretty pointless, how many games or movies are going to be that big? perhaps high definition will be bigger, but not _that_ big, so that extra space will probably not be needed, coupled with the fact that texture storing if becoming more efficient, therefore taking up less space respectively. backwards compatibility - its no big deal - microsoft were just stupid, it should be expected to be backwards compatible, and it is easy for sony, since as they started on cd's which can be read by blu-ray drives. nintendo on the other hand have a harder job, considering they had non standard disks for the gamecube and before that it was cart's, i guess that is why they are having to have it virtual only, not that i would a problem with that, saves the time putting the cd/cart in :D
