Yes, I'm asking about a netbook.

Asus eee PC 1015PN

Intel Atom Dual Core N550 (1.5 ghz)

ION 2 dedicated graphics with 512 mb ram

1 gb ram (can be upgraded to 2 gigs)

Based on a number of YouTube videos, I know this netbook can smoothly run Modern Warfare 1 on low settings and can run WOW perfectly fine on medium, and that comparable netbooks can run Oblivion on Medium or so. However, all of the comparable netbooks were running different, slightly more powerful Atom cores. Will the N550 choke the game?

I'm upping the graphics to a Mobility 5650 or I'm not buying it. Thanks for the info.

I'm about to get a new laptop, primarily for school work. However, I want to play some fairly recent games on it. Not having a ton of money to spend, the graphics card is very low-end, an ATI Mobility HD 5470 512 mb. How will the following games run on it (FPS, textures, etc)?

World of Warcraft

Fallout 3

Fallout New Vegas

Oblivion

Dragon Age: Origins

Civilization 5

It looked amazing, I'll give you that. Avatar is the best looking thing in cinema ever. But from a screenwriting, story standpoint, I found it to be dull, poorly acted and contrived, with some extremely creepy undertones (transspecies operations, anybody?). But no one else I know agrees with me. All of my friends and people I've talked to say it's the best film ever made in every way. Okay, maybe that's a bit of an overstatement. But still, I feel a little weird being the only person I know not to like it. Did anyone else not like it or am I just weird?

Whenever a page has the video player on it, my browser (Chrome) freezes up for about a minute or so. Am I the only one with this problem?

Not sure if this is the right forum, but am I the only one whose browser (Chrome) freezes every time a video is present on a page? Is there anything I can do to fix that?

What are the best and longest modules you can download for Neverwinter Nights 1? I'm burning through Diamond pretty quickly...

I'm working on a class project, making a console program in Visual Basic Express 2008 (it is intended to average 10 numbers) and I have come across a problem. I'm using the try catch finally method of exception handling and I'm trying to make it so an error code will trigger if someone puts in anything other than an integer for the variables. However, variable types cannot be used as expressions, so I can't make an exception that will trigger when someone puts in "w " instead of "2". Any ideas on how to do this in the try catch format?

Is there any way to turn off voice chat all together in Battlefield 1943 short of muting the TV? I don't like talking to people while I'm playing and it gets really annoying.
