I only "need" my PC.

 

Consoles hold very little value to me because they get such a tiny amount of games nowadays, but I could forsee owning one if I ever got to a point where I thought my living room could use a gaming device in it, but that'll probably never happen.

I played the Xbox One and PS4 at Eurogamer today as well, here are my observations:

1) All PS4 games I tried dropped frame rate
2) Watch Dogs on PS4 froze for a few seconds
3) Watch Dogs on PS4 legitimately looked like a PS3 game. Seriously.
4) PS4 controller was really nice actually despite my hesitation beforehand
5) Xbox One games ran consistently at 60FPS with absolutely no stutters or frame rate drops
6) Xbox One games seemed to have noticeably better lighting, though that was with exclusives esp Forza 5 and Ryse. Multiplat games looked p much the same between the two

Banning people for buying it and playing it early isn't going to stop leaks though. And this is entirely pointless anyway since the game is going to inevitably be spoiled for a lot of people once it's released anyway. This accomplishes nothing.

they are not banning you from playing the game early (did you not read the article?) they are banning you IF you post videos/pictures of the game online before September 17.

If you get an early copy, you can play it you just cannot post any sort of images from the game before its official launch.

Microsoft is making sure to ban the consoles of those gamers who are playing a leaked version of the game and spreading content.
