Social networks play a big part in nowadays Internet life man, but they're not the whole story. Fact is you're here chatting with people in this forum means you're a part of the Internet social life :) You know what, social networks are a more advanced level of forums and groups. That's it.Seems that everyone who's in the internet these days has a facebook account. Am I the only one who hasn't have one? I searched my classmates from 3 schools, and I could see everyone there. I was the only one who's not.
I go to the internet to get news on new games visit gamespot, read wikipedia pages about history, post youtube videos of me trying to making music. that's all.. ;D

It depends I think. The media has done its jobs - to show us the hottest girls on Earth lol. But it might not be your type I suppose. Me? I don't like heavily maked-up girls as well. They are like hiding themselves from something. The lure of women in magazines, commercials/ads, etc.....it just doesn't do it for me. All my friends who are the "typical guy" would show me a picture and go "man she's hot, what do you think?". I don't find them attractive.
To add to that, girls who wear a lot of make up, and dress up really skanky is a turn off for me. The only time I'd make an exception about make up and fancy clothes is at formal occasions like weddings.
I like the girl next door type. I like girls with a sort of plainess to them, but by plain I don't mean boring, she has to be fun to be around of course.
Anyone else feel the same? I'm tired of the media telling us what is beautiful, and I'm tired of guys succumbing to this fake vanity.

Nothing, everything happens for a reason. UprootedDreamerI totally agree with you UprootedDreamer :) Life is all about mistakes and lessons. If we're just afraid of making mistakes, we will never grow up. So, me too, I won't change anything and keep going!
That sounds cool for an RPG :) I think I will give Skyrim a shot in the future.MUahahahaha. Skyrim just cured something that has irritated me since I played Morrowind...commiting crimes was ALWAYS a pain before but NOW you can break out of jail and take out the witness or do it in stealth and GET AWAY WITH IT! Getting away with it is what made GTA4 so fun. Skyrim just rose to the top of my list. [evil genious hunch]. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA. View the link below for more information.

I was wondering if as a newcomer to the genre that the newest Heros of Might and Magic would be a good starting point? Does it have a tutorial? How steep is the learning curve? If not this game, what similar games would you recommend? ShoTTyMcNaDeSIt depends on your style, really :) And to be honest, if you're new to strategy games, I suppose you to go with Real time strategy games first as they have a much faster gameplay plus they're easier to get familiar with. HoMM, in my opinion, is not for strategy games newbies as it's a turn based game (which mean more time to get familiar, and even more time to learn about the strategy, factions, skills, builds, etc.) So, if you want a try, I suggest you go with Warcraft or Starcraft first. Both of them are world-famous and very enjoyable! Cheers!
