The hype the developer put out about this game is pretty much all true. Visually this is everything Crysis 2 SHOULD have been. The AA really makes a difference, and even compared to the hi-res/DX11 version of Crysis ... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Seems pretty cool. If it weren't for the battleog/origin nonsense and connection problems, this game would be great.
I'll open this up by saying I'm not a BF fanboy, far from it. I didn't mind the original or BF2, didn't try 2142... but ever since I've been very skeptical about what carries the BF name. Straight up, the GAME BREAKI... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
This is a disgraceful place to see the Gothic series end up in. Completely stripped of everything we loved about Gothic!
Gothic 3 wasn't entirely bad. It wasn't up to the standard of fun that 1 & 2 were, but it was still playable. This on the other hand... it's like Gothic for idiots. Story is retarded... the entire set of intro que... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
This is a single player game... which is where I find it baffling why it is a stock copy of World of Warcraft in terms of mechanics, and any other WoW clone out there. You start in a starting area... you choose a warr... Read Full Review0 of 2 users found the following review helpful
Great ideas, and genuinely huge... but it is a meat feast. Perhaps more an issue with start up community, but still...
I only invested about 4 or 5 hours of my life into this game. As far as some of the hype goes: Learning Curve is Steep = True Quite steep. But not because it lacks explanations within sub menus and is a game de... Read Full Review3 of 4 users found the following review helpful
For what it is, it's a lot of fun. I haven't enjoyed playing an arcade racer this much since maybe NFS: HP2.rnrnPROS:rnVery nice looking game. The graphics do create a nice sense of atmosphere and character that accent... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Rail shooter that is, if anything, overrated. If you've played "good" games before, you will not be impressed.
There's alot of pretty stuff in Sydnicate, from the box art to the HUD and stuff. Alot of graphic design choices that are cool (like the loading screens//level-milestones) that make you "think" this is gonna be a memorab... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Awesome game but even after the first patch this game is still in beta mode... way too many glitches and the DRM... wooo
In terms of gameplay, read other 9 and 10 ratings for this game. It really is very cool. PC mouse/keyboard controls are pretty good but still somewhat wonky, but that's to be expected considering the auto lock on syste... Read Full Review1 of 2 users found the following review helpful
Funky and unique. A real game with some real challenge, but it won't appeal to everyone. Worth considering though
Unique little game. You start off as an asteroid and there are a variety of missions you can perform as an asteroid. The concept of the game also includes a form of galactic evolution. Goes like this.... as an ast... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Possibly the closest they have come to making a genuine sequel to CoD4... but not quite. Still alot of stupid issues.
I have to preface this with the fact that the only reason why I bothered getting this is because I have some foolish friends at work that loved playing MW2 in private matches to relieve stress so I thought I'd grab this ... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
I haven't wanted to explore a game world like this since San Andreas. It ain't perfect, but it's immersive and a "game!"
First of all to cover the graphics issue. While this does serve as a tech demo for idTech5, it happens to be a fully fledged game first and foremost. Sadly though, Carmack's vision is too big and far reaching for t... Read Full Review3 of 6 users found the following review helpful
With a G25 and a tire mod.. you have to be willing to fine tune all your cars to finally enjoy what this game can offer.
Upon first glance this game is somewhat superior to the original Shift. On first play the physics are clearly more refined and performance of the actual 3D engine, whatever it is, is abit better than the first Shift. ... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
If you're an ET player, don't take all these negative reviews seriously. They're all from people that think Battlefield and CoD are leaders of innovation in FPSing and that nothing else can be done. Firstly.. bugs...... Read Full Review18 of 20 users found the following review helpful
Frontlines was pretty much a cross between Battlefield and Quake Wars whereas Homefront, so everyone says, is a cross between Battlefield and CoD. The truth is this is what Frontlines should have been... in a way. ... Read Full Review4 of 4 users found the following review helpful
Not revolutionary, but unique enough to really stand out from every other FPS out there right now. Well worth buying!!!!
Singleplay: Campaign This is essentially a rail shooter... there are plenty of console style moments where you lose all control as your character climbs a ladder, or does something cinematic. There are little things ... Read Full Review1 of 3 users found the following review helpful
So much potential that is destroyed by an unpolished game on release. Might get better with patches. Feels like a beta.
Thoroughly disappointed. I was hoping this game would be a great new FPS to keep me challenged until Brink arrives, but I was wrong. The visuals are dated, and while graphic whores will really care about this, one ... Read Full Review2 of 2 users found the following review helpful
Pretty, interactive war tourism. If it requires no skill, it's not a game... and this requires ZERO skill.
I'm glad I didn't pay for this. A friend of mine had high hopes for MoH and preordered it, then let me use his EA account to give it a try. Well, I tried to keep an open mind about the singleplayer campaign despite a... Read Full Review5 of 14 users found the following review helpful
Not perfect, but great arcade racer. Lots of fun, lots to do and online play can be great with friends.
I only got my hands on this recently, pre Criterion Hot Pursuit... kind of a test to see if I should rethink my negative opinion of what has become of the NFS series. The only other Burnout I played was the first one ... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful

With a racing sim wheel.... it had alot of potential but feels dumbed down and rather empty. It can get boring quick.
Starting off, I tried this with a G25 wheel. Support for wheels in this game is kind of odd. Firstly the demo doesn't support wheels at all, but the full game does. BUT, as far as Logitech wheels go, you won't be ab... Read Full Review4 of 4 users found the following review helpful
A huge load of fun, and still possibly the best handling arcade racer to date. Not dumbed down... requires actual skill
I'm not going to go into too much detail with this. I tried this a year or 2 ago with a gamepad and didn't quite get into it. At the time I didn't have the luxury to spend as many days as possible getting the hang of... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
More bugs than the beta... unfortunately typical of the NFS reputation. Also not free-to-play..you find out at lvl 10
I played this during the beta and it was surprisingly fun. Very comfortable to control via your keyboard arrow keys. The basic race dynamic is a good ole classic. It almost reminds me of the last couple of good NFS's.... Read Full Review4 of 7 users found the following review helpful
First off I'll say I am running Win 7 x64 and this game has issues. Maybe it runs fine under XP but I am not going to go to the lengths of trying that... XP is in the past for me. The game itself looks really interes... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Great dumb arcade game, just remember it's meant to be casual and dumb, not an intense piece of immersion.
If you ever played the ole micro machine looking GTA games you'll appreciate what kind of game this is. It's really meant for when you've got some time to kill and you just want to play something fun and alittle goofy... Read Full Review2 of 2 users found the following review helpful

Still alot of fun in 2010, though shooting from the hip is starting to age as an FPS play style, and the AI can be dumb!
I gave this a replay over the last few days. I hadn't touched it pretty much since I first got the game back around 2005, and I was curious to see how it had held up, what with the regular updates and tweaks Valve keeps... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
If you dig zombie culture, this is as much a must have as L4D2.Requires more aiming skill than L4D2,but also not as fast
If you do a little research behind this game you'll find out it started as an old mod in Half Life 1, long before Valve decided to making L4D1. What are the main differences? * You have iron sights * Each map is k... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Great game if you are interested in FUN GAMEPLAY.. seriously in need of a community boost though.Could be a 9.5 one day.

Great game that still deserves to be played, but be prepared to be seriously annoyed if you hate dim, voiping teens!!!

Amazing visuals and the opposite when it comes to gampeplay. 6.5 because cool graphics can't hide an empty experience
The similarities between this and Blur are amazing. Both arcadey to the extreme, both with the ability to attack opponents with the goal of wrecking them. So I'm basing this on that comparison. The menu screens an... Read Full Review2 of 2 users found the following review helpful

It's a pretty port that runs smoothly, but still a port. And it's slow, don't expect this to be a proper PC FPS.
The strongest impression this game left me with was "SLOW". Level chunks are pretty small and there seems to be a lot of following NPCs, then you'll hit a load screen for the next bit to load, and then more slowness. ... Read Full Review3 of 10 users found the following review helpful
it's a little puzzle game and doesn't pretend to be anything else. Fun on par with Solitaire or Qbert-watered-down.

Decent game if you don't compare it to the franchise it comes from, though it is severly watered down in gameplay.
The first thing you notice about this game is the cinematic quality. That whole "objective projected on the wall" thing adds to the cinematic flow of the gameplay and is a legit claim. It really does feel "cinematic". ... Read Full Review2 of 2 users found the following review helpful

Great game, but if you're hardcore about multiplay it may feel alittle boring depending on your experience.
Firstly, this game is stunning. And for one of those rare moments in the gaming world, the beautiful visuals really contribute to the gameplay. The styling is less gritty, kind of softer than CoD 4 or 6, but it manages... Read Full Review2 of 3 users found the following review helpful
fun, but very dumbed down compared to the ole R6 games. It's like a cross between R6 and Splinter Cell. A "normal" FPS.

Best sandbox game since GTA3 series, and a new holder of the crown for sandbox "fun"... respect for the PC platform too!
