@Insert-Coin: Punch Out. But I must say the game turns into a very heavy exercise then. Others I know are also for exercise (as EA Sports Active 2). Some WiiWare titles too, but nothing too good, as I remember

@dennysinny: First, Wii U is not Wii. There are a lot of great games to justify your purchase. But if really don't want to get one then you can buy the 3DS version

@ttualumni13: I disagree. Despite the 600+hrs I spent on my Wii I still love so much more the Wii U version. New monsters, new weapons, new areas and, most important, this time there are no restrictions to hunt any monster off/online. With the MHTri servers down you won't be able to hunt 3 of he best monsters (ok, 2 of the best and 1 a little bit boring).

@enrique_marrodz: How does the Wii U version handle camera control? Is it still free left-to-right and locked to five(ish?) vertical angles?

You can move the camera freely with the left stick and also the semi-lock-on feature from the 3DS, so you can do both.

@blueboxdoctor: Pretty much everyone else has answered your question. I got both because I also love MH so much, since MHTri. 3DS is great as you can have it with you all the time, and you can do dozens of mining or Moga forest missions without worry for your time. When coming back to the Wii U, the online community is still very alive and you'll be ranking in no time.

3DS version looks very good, specially in XL, but the underwater fights are very difficult unless you get good managing the camera.

Wii U has no problem and works great. Personally I was expecting Wiimote support or local multiplayer but now I got vey used to have the second screen and a very minimal UI on the main screen. Graphically, it does look better than the Wii version, but not that good for a Wii U game, is just a light update actually.

In any case, it also depends on your gaming preference, portable or home.

To TC. Your timing is just great. The library already has a lot of excellent titles and at very good prices. I really hope you and your family to enjoy it!

I play it everyday as there are always fun things to do, sometimes I spent hours just browsing and commenting on Miiverse, for example!

@Jaysonguy: LOL, is this the same guy who stands all day outside Gamestop to warn all customers not to buy a Wii U and "save them"? How sad is that!

I saw the video and it is pretty impressive. Too bad I'm not fan of shooters but if there's a good story to support it I may be all in for it ;)

At this point there are a lot of great games for you to enjoy, so it is a truly great timing and I really hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I hope to see you online soon!
