I agree. The games selected abobe are not logical. First, is very short and too much games has been excluded from the list, so the result will not be representative. Second, there are not all RPG games. I think it's been confused the characteristics of the RPG genre. And third, there can't be an option other. RPG games must have an evolutive stat growing, be fullfiled of items and have a complete list of quest to resolve although other minnor things. The most important thing is that we have to play with only one character, that has to be the central point or have a great part of the story. And the story has to give us quest to let the character obtain experience points to change for new abilities or improve the ones that he has.

I really don't remember wich was my first game, but I can tell you this: It can't be considered a game compared actual titles. although I can mention Pong like I read a few lines above, Stunts and all other **** made by vectors or straight vertical and horizontal lines. I think It's a good Idea do what REX 3453 made, cause for todays we only can say a game is anything that can be catalog in an specific genre. And another good idea is mention the first game that we really enjoy and only PC Games (cause we are in a PC forum).

FPS: Wolfestein 3D, enjoy: Quake, Duke Nukem 3D.

RTS: Warcraft, enjoy: Starcraft.

Adventure: Lemmings, enjoy: Full Throtle.

Driving: Stunts, enjoy: Need for Speed.

Simulator: F15 Strike Eagle 3, enjoy: the same.

Arcade: I don't remember the first, but enjoy: Blackthorne.

Sports: I don't remember the first, but enjoy: Fifa 95.

I don't think that RTS genre is dying. Although I didn't like so much titles like Warcraft, Command and Conquerer, Age of MS, etc, I know a lot of people fanatic and addicted to them. In my case, I love Warhammer and Spellforce Series and I still play in LAN Parties C&C Generals, Empires, Praetorians and the Never ever forguet Starcraft and Red Alert 2. RTS had a very bad time a few years ago, but I think It was necessary to force a great change in shape and soul. Cause now we have titles born and married, mixed and growing stronger including characteristics and things of other games genres like RPG, Adventure and FPS in extreme cases. I feel new horizons are coming and sometimes makes us feel worry, other bored and sometimes amazed. I still believe that there is NO BETTER GAME FOR MULTIPLAYER than RTS, and of course FPS.
