@DrKill09 I don't remember anyone saying it was new and innovative. I remember people claiming it was different, and it was if you compared it to many racers before it. Think about how you worded your comment. It has been over a decade since we had seen a game like it. What was most memorable about that game to me was the marketing and the visual style of the game. It was some hot stuff.
When I bought my iPhone, I didn't know about all the games and I was pleasantly surprised. I'm a big time gamer that only has a PC and old consoles that I haven't upgraded. But now, I'm not all that worried because I feel like I have a second platform for games: iPhone. With iDracula, TouchGrind, Rolando, and Fieldrunners, I really enjoy my phone as a gaming device! One awesome thing about them is that they often have updates adding new features!
What's the use of comparing the consoles? Those who like the PS3 will buy the PS3, those do like the 360 will buy that. Meanwhile Nintendo will still be making a killing on the DS and Wii.
Technically, it's not the best looking game. But technology aside, it's a beautiful game. Resolution is the biggest problem with it. Textures are horrible and you see quite a lot of jaggies. And that is because of resolution.
lol I've done all of this before with Warthogs in Garry's Mod. Oooh, and I've also played a game more fun than Halo 3 before that is a FPS and that's called Unreal Tournament (all of them are a lot more fun because they are fast-paced. But, I'm not saying the Halo games are horrible. I love the look of them, and the story isn't horrible. But it's no more revolutionary than a sheet of used toilet tissue. I might be getting a copy of Halo Wars when it comes out, if it comes out on PC.
