When a showdog is "retired" does it usually get spayed/nutered?

LOL the KKK thing? Really... I only know one person who supports PETA and that is my room mate... and shes not all up there either.

:lol::lol::lol: It must be fun shareing living quaters with that "Piece of work", especally when you get lectured by her about a stupid white-castle burger(PETA people despise meat in all forms).

I don't think they aired 2009's show because of "Controversey" with the BBC
(Westminster better not be next target for PETA and all these "Doesmetic dogs must die" groups).

luke1889

Do you even know anything about that "controversey"?

Heck, well I've just read about this controversy, and I now hate PETA ever more. What a bunch of twits.

Lol, tell me about it.
Who here rembers the stunt they pulled off at westminster this year?

Personally, I prefer my dogs in a tasty stir-fry dish, with lots of vegetables and rice noodles.

:lol::lol::lol:

This topic is about showing dogs, not decideing what to have with them for dinner.

Dog shows are one of the most boring types of events on the face of the earth. Whenever I see one on Animal Planet I immediately switch the channel. Poodles are not worthy of existence!Head_of_games

It's a niche market.

I've seen a minor dog show and mum likes to watch Crufts when it's on TV...if it's even on anymore. :Pluke1889

Well before this goes into Flame war let's change the topic.

Most f-uped hairdos for these dogs(That's right poodle, I'm looking at you)?

Sajedene

If you read up on that, they did that because it allows them great mobility while keeping the right areas warm when they are in water. If you don't cut it that way, it gets heavy and slows them down tremendously (could even cause them to drown).

Right, I know about the whole "Functionality" thing with that poodle cut........

Is it me or are there too much poodles in the ring these days?

And I'm going to get this out of the way Terriers=Fav
Sporting = Least fav(They all look the same).
