I've had my original 3ds since that came out so trading it in for almost half off on the new XL is lovely. Can't wait for my already extensive 3ds game library to expand even more and become even better because of the new systems. For once Nintendo isn't just doing a cosmetic remake of the system and giving us a lot more for our money.
A reality check purely on addiction would be interesting. I would also like to see a reality check on how does gaming affect sleep in a positive or negative way.
Overall I say good job Microsoft. You altered your policies to make everyone like them and kept the faith of all your followers from the past gen obviously with your 2 million copies sold. I mean look at the old 360 dashboard, I mean that was on the same console that now looks so amazing. The xbox one is already starting off strong and will only get better as time goes on. When I get enough money I'll buy my own xbox one and cannot wait to start playing Titanfall, Destiny, The Elder Scrolls online, Project Spark, and of course the release of Halo 5. 2014 is gonna be a good year for them.
Nintendo does show promise for the next year. I think they will surprise us with a new metroid game reveal on the wii u next year and alongside the Zelda game: Hyrule warriors and super smash bro will be huge console sellers. Overall I believe the 3ds was the winner of all consoles this year. I believe it would be smart for them to remake the japan only fire emblem games for the wii U or 3ds would maybe make their profits higher next year. Good job nintendo, I have bought more games from you this year than any other.
I loved the world of the first Dragon age and even though it was a bit cramped I loved the action of the second title. Now it seems like its all coming together. I hope the story is nice and long and leaves me wanting for more play throughs :) cant wait.
Nice article. Though some games like most of nintendo's are forced to stay the same because we love them so much. I think the best games they have and successfully change a bit every time is the legend of zelda series and the metroid series. Hell the past decade they did the metroid prime series which was brand new for nintendo to make it a fps and then they make metroid the other M. Which in my personal opinion is fantastic, yeah the controls arent the best on the wii but way to show that their old formula mashes well with the prime to make an amazing game.
