I have heard June or July, following the Infamous PS3 $100 price cut rumor at E3 this year. We will have to see what happens.

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter

Call of Duty 4

Both Gears games

Fable II

EA sports Hockey games

Grand Theft Auto IV (the little things)

Project Gotham Racing

Fight Night round 4

Elder Scrolls oblivion (sorry Fallout 3 people but I thought Elder Scrolls looked better)

I'm sure there are more great looking games, but those are the best I can think of

ONe more thing. AS A 360 OWNER! I DO BElIEVE THAT THE PS3 WILL HAVE A LONGER SHELF LIFE THEN THE XBOX 360. I think the 360 is starting to sputter now and if Killzone 2, MLB THe Show, and Little Big Planet are any indication, then the sky is the limit for the PS3. I hate to admit it, but the 360 is getting lame. I'm sick of everyone saying,"but online, but online, but online, but online, but online". Im sick of it. I play games alone and like it. I hate online gaming. It's only good for updating rosters and patches

I am with you on the PS3 front. I had one, and sold it. I buy a 360 and was happy for a little bit. Now I hate it. I want my PS3 back. Gotta wait though. Price is to high for me nowadays. Good thing is, I will buy it again with the 80gb harddrive and rumble shock as opposed to the 40gb wth no rumble

The opening day download (this is the second) tweaks alot of the games problems. For starters, they automatically adjusted the default difficulty to make it harder to hit homeruns. I also think they did something to the AI code behind the scenes with this too. Pitching is a more difficult now. CPU batters will now take balls, instead of swinging at everything (almost to much now) The 1st baseman glitch is fixed. Fielding with your outfielders feels a better now, nomore accidental drops. Basically, 2K fixed some glitches and polished the game thru sliders. I wouldn't mind seeing a couple more downloads that radically overhaul the fielder transitions and stuff. I don't know if it is possible to alter the game code that much behind the scenes, but it would be nice. The only thing keeping this game from the ranks of MLB: The Show, is polish, polish, polish. 2K should have left 2K7 alone and just worked from there, instead they have torn up their baseball concept every year and release a brand new prototype. 2K6, 2K7,2K8 AND 2K9 are all way to different from one another. My point is, SONY's MLB: The Show has taken many years (almost 10) to be perfected. Let's not forget, "The Show" wasn't very good until last year. I always liked MVP baseball and 2K baseball better than Sony's baseball. Now, the tide has turned. All SONY did was take their existing model and just kept tweaking until they got it right. Imagine how bad the game would be if SONY scrapped it and rebuilt it every year.
