i have the first party sharpshooter as well, mine is grey though...
i have used it with killzone and found it to be a chore compared to playing with the controller, the movement is too finicky and you have to hold it up for a long period of time, so it is a bit exhausting as well... it does better with stationary shooting games, since as i stated movement is quite unpleasant...
Every Turkish men use a real rifle such as AK-47 at least once or twice in their lifetime, thanks to the military service. These plastic weapons won't satisfy you. = )
I just picked up vita slim borderlands pack. Downloaded borderlands but haven't played yet. I gotta say I am liking the feel of holding new slim a lot more. It feels so much lighter and compact. Some call it cheap feeling I call it more portable feeling.
The back touch pad feels like it will be easier to use. My fingers used to hit it accidentally all the time before. I wish it had 4 tactile sections so you could more easily feel to use virtual buttons with ps4

Yes, I love it when games that I can already play on my PS3 get ported to the Vita.
Vita gamers wanted that game on their console of choice and they made a campaign, so Sony listened and gave them what they wanted. There're exclusive Vita games that you can play right now. And, there'll be more exclusives in the future. (Some of them are announced.)
