A GTA rip off it might be, but it's a good GTA ripoff - which can't be said for many of them. Whilst I don't expect SR2 to be as enjoyable as GTA4 it ought to be good for the campaign which is fully playable in co-op and I'm a sucker for some open world co-op.

Civ 4, Heroes of Might and Magic, Puzzlequest. Pretty much anything turn based works.

If you don't like the games thats fine but throwing out statements like 'Well it's just senseless killing and carjacking blahblahblah it's bad' is just plain stupid and shows how little you actually know about it and how much you just pay attention to youtube videos people put online of their rampages or the inane and insane rantings of Jack Thompson and his ilk, which is where I aussume your oppinion of the games come from because if you actually played one for more then 10 minutes or so you'd know better.

The games have pretty decent storylines, there are activities that don't involve killing people, they're funny games - just listening to the radio on there can be pretty fun in itself. True, a lot of people tend to focus on the ability to randomly kill people but so freaking what? If thats what they want to do with the game then all the power too them, hell I enjoy a mindless rampage everyonce in a while myself but just because thats all people really focus on doesn't mean thats all there is to GTA.

I'll be grabbing both. GTA has always been a quality series and Saints Row has proven itself to be one of, probably even the best GTA clone out there. In my book the only thing it has going against it is it' story, GTAs better as far as story goes. But in my oppinion Saints Row did most stuff better but most people wouldn't see that because they have their heads so far up Rockstars collective butts all they can see 'WHOOO GTA!!111 R0x0rz!111 WOOO!!!!' and not have any sort of real objective position on the subject. A lot of GTA players are just total fanboys and will refuse to admit SR did a lot of things better, at least thats been my experiance with them, but whatever.

And for the record I don't buy the whole 'Saints Row wouldn't exist if it weren't for GTA!' schtick. Hell I don't buy it when anyone says that 'This thing wouldn't exist if someone else didn't make this thing first!' - so Rockstar started the whole urban, open world action game - good for them. But you can't tell me that if they didn't some other schmucks wouldn't have.

Luigis portrayal as being somewhat cowardly dates back, I think, as far as his appearances on the Super Mario Super Show and while I can't say when they injected this cowardly personality into his game character - well cowardly was a trait I just sort of associated with him thanks to the show and that was over a decade ago.

I think there are many other people who're in the same boat and Nintendo knows this, so it's been how they've treated him in their games in recent years. It's what makes Luigi well, Luigi rather then 'Green Mario'.

Probably Oblivion. Between my three characters I think I have close too, if not past 300 hrs.

I owned both the Xbox and the PS2. I would've bought a Gamecube except there is little to no support for it in any of my local retailers so getting it would've been a waste.

Glad to see Nintendo support is up locally now the Wii's out.

This gen the Playstation is missing out. Initally because it was simply too expensive but now that it's around the same price as my 360 + it's various accessories at the time it came out - well simply because theres too few games out for it to make it worth paying the cheaper, though still too expensive price. I do hope to pick it up eventually. There are games I want to play. Just again, not enough there to make it worth me spending so much money at this point in time.
