How so?

Zophar87
Well what do you define as a grind? To me its killing the same enemy over again and again with no variation in tactic or technique for an extended period of time. This fits a wide plethora of games, so say COD often falls under the same definition if not played at higher difficulties. This is especially true so far in D3 where my finger literally hurts because all I have done is click the left or right mouse button. On about 4 occasions I had to blind someone, whoop for having me use my left hand for something other then drinking a beer. I had no thought process that changed at all, no tactic change, and it was irrelevant what the model of the enemy was in front of me, it was all completely the same.

[QUOTE="dracolich55"]Man so exited, just one thing.. why does this game seem so much like WoW? Not just the art style but the levelling as well...Zophar87

The leveling is nothing like in WoW. Not one single part in this game feels "grindy" like an MMORPG.

Most of the game feels grindy, but I have never played WoW so can't compare.

So I played about 3-4 hours total, nothing to really be able to claim as a full experience but here are my thoughts so far. The game is ok, quite literally ok. I am not "hooked" or really have much desire to play it again, I multiple times found myself wanting to load up the beta for Dota 2 instead and stopped myself simply on account of having paid money for the game. I played a little past the skeleton king with a friend, hit level 11 or so with Monk.

..

I guess I am just getting older maybe, but I really find nothing that is entertaining. Story does not give me a reason to keep going, its cliche on cliche so far, even down to a damsel in distress that was a farmers daughter. Gameplay wise I appreciate what they were going for with all the skills unlocking, but to me it just means designs are irrelevant, your choices don't matter. As far as gameplay its easy enough at this point that honestly it takes no mental ambiguity at all. It honestly takes me more thought to play a game of pac man.

..

I guess this is not meant to be as a negative on the game for those that know that they still like this style of game. I am 22 now and was a kid for Diablo 2, I guess I have just changed since then. Its Diablo through and through, a little more simplified, if that makes you happy then power to you. If taking an already simply formula and making it simpler sounds like a step back to you then maybe hold off on a purchase till you can find it cheaper, or can test it out for a few hours at a friends place.

edit for spelling

System wars has really gone downhill... Its just kind of sad to see. A while ago it was about 50 50 of this stupidity to a 50 of rational people. Now that percentage is at about 70 30 if not higher. Good day boys and girls, im out...

Despite that I have high hopes. I would rather hope that they ran out of time to do a proper ending, vs them flat out not understanding how to wrap up a story effectively. Now they have time, and EA wont be as set up on the date cause its free anyway. It an open goal, they just need to avoid the posts..

[QUOTE="designer-"]Toss up between Witcher 2 and ME3. The toss up being on how the games EE's adjust their individual endings..the-obiwan
does it has red blue and green endings ?

Apparently those stay. So Bioware has their work really cut out for them in making them colors somehow meaningful...

Average age of a gamer is well over the M rating. Its just good business to make a game M as the more mature content is more likely to attract attention of the mean, and the envy of those below the threshold.

..

More importantly, who cares, I understand (to an extent) enforcing drug alchohol, and (to a larger extent) gambling, driving laws but video game age ranges just dont seem to be a very hard thing to get around. If you want to kill hookers in GTA you are limited only by your parents. Any kid with half a head would not be limited by the store.
