Sorry to hear of the money problems Dorthie.  The good news is it is free.  Sometimes, depending on the strength of their signal and where you can park, you don't even have to go in.  A couple of years ago at another one of their giveaways, I sat in my car and downloaded their promotional Pokemon numerous times (yes, it is one per cart, but I went prepared with a reset game, a game I wasnt resetting, a bunch of disposable Pokemon in the one cart, and two DS's.  I would start a new game, download the promo Pokemon, trade it and the starter into the game I was keeping for the disposable ones, and then reset and start over again.  Ok, I am getting way off topic...sorry)  Anyway, don't let money stop you from enjoying this download at Gamestop if you can.

I am new to the union, so excuse me if I am posting something already out there.  Digging through the message boards I didn't see it, so thought I would share the news.

Starting on August 27th through October 6th, Gamestop will be offering Keldeo through download at their stores.  I don't claim to be the expert, but it is my understanding that this is the first time it has been offered in the US.  I am going to try to get multiples since it also changes into its Resolute Form when taught Secret Sword in Oath Woods from what I have read.  I want to have both in my game(s).  Anyway, hope this info helps!  More information is on the official Pokemon site.

Keldeo

Hello,

Just joined the union today.  Got an invite a month ago, but I have been bad at checking my mailbox lately...

Anyway, I am a huge Pokemon fan, and have been playing since the original red/blue.  Though they are over a year old, if you check my personal Gamestop blog, I posted enough to really tell how I am with Pokemon.  I haven't caught all of them, but I have gotten most of them over the years (usually more than once through the various versions).

Outside of Pokemon, I am a big gamer in general.  I love to play most every type of game, but I do lean towards RPGs and racing games.  Thanks for the invite!

BC is everything to me. I currently have a 60GB, but if it broke, I wouldnt buy a new PS3 without BC. I love all my PS2 RPGs, and while I do not play them often anymore, I like having the option on my PS3. I sold my PS2 a long time ago, and like not having the clutter of another system in my setup. Also, I am a big fan of PS3 wireless controllers. Sure you can get some for the PS2, but they are not the same....

In regards to the packed in games in the question, I have seen MGS4 cheaper lately at stores like GameStop, so even if I hated Haze and all, I would not base that decision on the games. There is plenty to play, and wait for the good games to get cheap in the meantime. As someone else on here said, it is easier to buy the games later. If you buy a non-BC system, you cant upgrade it later...

Well, I agree it really isn't necessary for most normal releases, but besides playing games, I like to collect them. I almost always get the special editions if they are games I feel I am really going to like. There will be tons of the regular releases on the shelves, but almost all of the shops around me run out of the special ones just from the preorders.

Other reasons you already heard...not dropping $60 at once, worrying about the one game that does sell out...etc.
