So, my friend lives in Brazil and he has his brother import him a copy of Gears of War 2. The brother bought the game new from Gamestop. He puts in the disc and the menus are in some foreign, Russianesque language. After a bit of research, we've come to the conclusion that it's in Slovanian. The box and manual are both in English but the game is in Slovanian! We don't know anyone who can understand any of it! 

I've tried helping him with the menus because my copy is in English (I live in Brazil too) but my options menu has no language option! Is there a solution to this? 

Has anyone ever had a problem like this? Not just with Gears 2, but with any other game? I'm assuming this is some kind of packaging error, but I'm wondering just how 1-in-a-million this is...

SAS is pretty awesome. Delta Force and First Force Recon are also really awesome, but the American best is the SEALs. I don't think there's such thing as a "best".

Have you seen the Brazillian BOPE (Batalhao de Operacoes Policiais Especial, or special battalion of police operations)? Those guys are awesome too.

That's it. I'm finishing this. Crysis is a nice game but it's not the god of all games. It is certainly not better than the big name console games though. Call of Duty 4's "problem" according to most PC users is its linear-ness. I don't see why that's a problem. It takes you directly into amazing gameplay. Besides, Crysis falls victim to poor level design, bad vehicle controls, and other issues. Here, you know what, this will close the argument: THIS. Before you ask, yes that's Yahtzee's review.

Hermits, shut up. Crysis a great game yes, but that doesn't give you the right to start parading its graphics around like they're Jesus himself. Crysis is also definitely not better than MGS4 or GTAIV and not better than any other 9.5 game for that matter, they're "equal", so to speak. Get your heads out of the sand and stop telling us what video card you have.

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone actually used the "legacy" control option you have with most games (where the thumbstick controls become like those of older games: left stick moves you forward/backwards and turns you, right stick strafes and looks).

Do you use the legacy control scheme or the normal one?

I use the normal one.

I guess I have something of a sitting fear of them hurting the formula. The tanks were already weak in previous titles, and I think having the ability to get into one at any moment might unbalance the game or at least make it feel less like Call of Duty. I can't say for sure, but I have a lot of doubts about this...
