You block head, wireless has 20% more lag than wired. just play a game that gives you your actual lag time in milliseconds. instead of green bars.

To start off, their rating system is jacked up. 5 of the "Top 20 Xbox 360 games" are Xbox live arcade downloadables made in the 90's ?? whats wrong with these people, you honestly think that a CARD GAME and Sonic, and the original prince of persia, is better than most of the games out for xbox360 ?

Some sort of ratings system has to be made, that can be used for a long time, and keeps in mind that graphics and expectations will change.

to keep your xbox 360more cool, make sure your xbox has minimal contact with the surface its resting on. Iputmy xbox horizontal, andlayed it on a wire grate. all the vents will be wide open especially the most important one, (the one on the bottom if you have your xbox vertical)

my xbox is atleast 20-30F cooler than laying it horiztonal on a flat surface.

I know people say the intercooler and the pelican can hurt your 360, but what about a laptop cooler it would basicly just blow air on the bottom of the 360 to keep the whole motherboard including gpu cool. To me it sounds like it would keep it a little cooler and I dont see any way it would hurt, what do you guys think?TIMMY01978

that will work well, but works even better, is just keeping the xbox 360 off of any flat smooth surface. the heat from the box will radiate to the surface its sitting on and then radiate back to the 360 making it VERY HOT.

i keep my xbox 360 on a wire grate, full of holes and gaps, it keeps the bottom of my 360 around 30F cooler or more,

Do not buy the xbox 360 rechargeable battery pack !!

I know everyone keeps saying that it is better than having to constantly buy new AA's. Which is true, but it is definitely not better than buying 2500mAh or above NiMH AA batteries. This is because inside of the rechargeable battery pack sit two AA 1800mAH batteries, which are weaker and dont hold a charge as long as the typical 2500mah NiMH or above, rechargeable batteries you can buy in any store.

and yes. The play and charge cable will work with rechargeable AA batteries no matter what the maH number.
I got a 4 , 2650mah AA duracell batteries for 10 USD and it works fine with the charger.

And i know some of you are thinking that it is hard to take the AA batteries out of the holder, but i just hold the holder firmly , and just give the pack a FIRM downward whip. (like shaking the last drops of water out of a glass) to get the batteries out. but make sure to put a finger over the batteries so they dont go FLYING.

Simply put, M$, and the other third-part xbox360 battery pack makers are just selling you the lowest quality NiMH batteries, for 12 USD when you could easily be buying twice the amount of batteries for the same price.

I just got an xbox 360 , but i've heard that it has a ton of over heating issues.
decided to rest my xbox 360 horizontally,(so the bottom intake grate can function properly) and i have the whole thing sitting on a steel wire rack with lots of gaps. I find that the system is cooler, because now when i put my hand behind it, the air is warm instead of the usually blistering hot.

i also got the pelican usb powered stand today. but i haven't tried to see if it makes a difference. so far im having troubles with it staying in place with on the rack.

it looks cooler verticle, but i have heard that you can have disc errors, and damage when its verticle so, to be safe, i have mine horizotal.

as a rule of thumb , if its has an ejecting tray put it horizontal.

so if you have a wii or ps3 you shoud be fine putting it verticle
