This game is really pretty funny. This isn't one of those things you have to notice, but one of my favorite parts is when you get in the Dahl Headlands and have to save lucky. Scooter starts talking. And hilarity ensues. :D

You aren't halfway. I started playing a new character and got to level 11 right after killing 9 toes. He's the first boss. No you aren't anywhere near halfway there. And you start off slow in Borderlands. Once you get into the game and start doing a bunch of side quests and collect awesome rare guns, you'll start having WAY more fun. I can't describe to you how much fun i had after i found my revolver (some kind of savage masher that did 128 x 7 damage- that was about halfway through my first playthrough so it was ridiculous at the time :D) and i was running through dahl headlands and rust commons blowing bandits heads off for hours. It gets better. Trust me. Oh and also, stick it out cuz Playthrough 2 makes your first go-round seem like nothing. It's all about the guns man. the gunssssss. @.@

Definitely with you on the customizable weapons part. And I've also noticed some problems with the waypoint system- that's more of a fix than a change, but whatever. I can't complain too much because the game borders (lol) on perfection.

And i also get your problems with the skill tree. I would change a lot about that. Especially the first five wasted levels where you dont get any points. Srsly wtf is up with that? And the Destroyer was a bit overpowered for my tastes... I had a pretty good incendiary sniper dealing about 5200 damage per critical on that fool for my first playthrough and he still killed me like 8 times before i just started being cheap hiding behind that pillar... Egh. But other than that this game rocks! Can't wait to get live working again so i can have the full mp experience.

I was playing the Broken Steel DLC today, and i came across an enemy i'd never seen before, a Feral Ghoul Reaver. I noticed that these were particularly hard to kill. Also, whenever i saw them, they were flailing their arms about wildly. This made me think that maybe they were glitched. I mean, i'd never been scared of any feral ghouls before; usually they are the easiest things to kill. So i'm wondering if my game glitched, or if these new ghouls really are as bad-a as they seemed to be. They sure gave me a hard time...

Pig tanks of course, They are pigs but also tanks dare i say the greatest idea for a game ever?

craigalan23

Wait you mean pigs driving tanks, or pigs that are tanks? like pig-shaped tanks that shoot stuff with their snouts and stuff?
The former = meh
The latter = OMFG1337ZOR

Star wars the force unleashed
ninja gaiden 2

and don't crap on my chest for this one, but Street Fighter 4. Thought it'd be great. But i hate it.
I guess i got used to playing Marvel vs Capcom on an emulator at my school, and the complicated controls make it kinda boring. I wanna be able to do awesome specials and stuff with ease, not have to press like 6000 buttons to get one small attack off. Eff that.

[QUOTE="darkpiggy17"]

My game is different to say the least. Imagine a multiplayer game in the vein of gears of war, but minus the guns. This is a hand-to-hand gorefest, complete with ridiculous moves that make for fast paced action like nobody's ever played before. It would utilize the cover system of games like gears, but your options for exiting cover would be much more dramatic.
Don't think of this as just a game where people would run around a map punching at the air until they got close enough to button mash the enemy to death. No, in fact (in my mind) it's mostly dependent on the cover system to be what it should be.
Imagine this scenario in gears. You're hiding behind a small block in the middle of a room, with a member of the other team coming around to shotgun you. In this game, you'd be able tojump out from behind that block, kick the enemy in the face (stunning him) and then jump off the wall behind him, kicking him again, only this time with such force that as his body is stopped by the other side of the block you were crouching behind, his head isn't stopped and it flies off. Decapitation through kicking. Screw realism; to me that right there is some freaking awesome stuff.
The possibilities are endless for a game like that. Crazy stuff never seen from any other sort of beat-em-up game. Punch someone so hard your fist goes through the other side, cave in an enemy's skull with your bare hands, and all sorts of other mayhem and awesomeness. It's a hard idea to grasp (i don't know if i've been able to explain it quite the way i wanted to) but, at least for me, it would be amazing.
Can't think of a name for it, because everything seems to sound really really lame. It'd have to be based on a campaign element. I haven't thought that part through all the way... XP

Mad-Charlie

so your saying gears with but no limited to mirriors edge and assains creed elements basiclly? cool i'd buy it

Yeah that's a good way to think of it. Only like mirrors edge on steroids, not just regular parkour. The stuff in mirror's edge is (for the most part) believable. This would involve some crazy acrobatic stuff. Just to make it a more chaotic sort of fun and increase the epicness and such. :)

I can pretty much guarantee it's just a matter of time before every game on your list comes around. Except halo 4; i think we're just going to have to accept that one's a trilogy. There'll be more games in the Halo universe- depending on the success of Halo 3 ODST this winter, maybe more based on a realistic military feel. But Master Chief is done as a playable character.

What i really want to see is my freaking Kingdom Hearts 3. Seriously. That bonus video afterwardstalking about the keyblade war made me so happy. But no news of it yet. :(

And yes, KotoR 3 NEEDS to happen sometime in the future. Needs to. Or i'm 87% sure the world will be destroyed.
I may be alone on this one, but I really want to see a new Advent Rising. There was a sequel (or two?) in the works but it/they got cancelled. Advent Rising was a great game. Buggy like nobody's business, but IMO a very, very good game. I really liked the feeling of power it offered; the simple dodging/slowmo mechanics and the creative powers would, especially now for the current generation of consoles, provide a unique multiplayer experience if they could just do it in a way that people would get into. Sadly, i think that ship sailed a long time ago.
