Not a bad article but the various characters could have used more of an explanation of their motives and/or character traits. Talking about Andrew Ryans social philosophy and how it didn't work out would have been nice. Or that Sephiroth took great pleasure in tormenting Cloud because he was the low class grunt that almost killed him when he was supposed to be an untouchable hero. If you do a follow up of some kind you might want to touch on characters like Kain (legacy of Kain series), Kreia (KOTOR II), Grahf (Xenogears), Fou-Lou (Breath of Fire IV), and Ghaleon (Lunar: Silver Star Story).
Seems that a lot of good games aren't working yet. Hopefully it's just a matter of Nvidia and ATI making fully functional Vista drivers. This was my big question about Vista, and this will make or break the OS for people like me. Hopefully NWN and Baldur's Gate will work properly with newer graphics drivers. If gamespot were to update this feature when Vista is released (or finished) it would be a big help for us pc folks.
1. Final Fantasy Tactics (PS1) Almost infinately replayable, random battles alone take half an hour to 45 mins. A joy to play, again, and again. 2. Lumines (PSP) It's like tetris . . . . . . . just better. 3. Warcraft III + Frozen Throne expansion (pc) Amazing story, gameplay is brilliant. Random Vs cpu games are great. 4. Disgaea: Hour of Darkness Because you could play that game forever and still have things to do 5. Icewind Dale 2 (pc) Because the Baldur's Gate story spans two games and i only had one spot left.
1. The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind 2. Baldur's Gate 2 (i've started it but have never finished) 3. Splinter Cell 4. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City 5: Fallout 2 I own all of these games. I just havn't gotten around to playing them.
