My last day of high school, June 7th, 2007

The day before yesterday was my last day of high school. I know I can't believe it myself. Am I sad about leaving? To be frank about things, no not really. I mean I could always call my friends, visit them, or write to them. Besides out of the 175 school days this pass year about a 1/4 of the days we didn't do anything in class. Also I never did like going to an overcrowded school. Now is the time to look ahead to the future, and not dwell on the past that is known as high school. That was the day they sent me free, on that day I realized who I wanted to be. They can't clip my wings now that I've fled, the path I sent before me will be right in the end. Only time will tell if what I mend is truely worth it all.

Why I chose my Jellyfishes

In case you're wondering and your probably are or aren't. Here's the reason why I chose my Jellyfishes direct from wikipedia.org

"Jellyfish are marine invertebrates belonging to the Scyphozoan ****/a>. The body of an adult jellyfish is composed of a bell-shaped, jelly producing substance enclosing its internal structure, from which the creature's tentacles are suspended. Each tentacle is covered with stinging cells (cnidocytes) that can sting or kill other animals: most jellyfish use them to secure prey or as a defense mechanism. Others, such as Rhizostomae, do not have tentacles at all. Most jellies must compensate for a lack of basic sensory organs and a brain, the jellyfish exploits its nervous system and rhopalia to perceive stimuli, such as light or odor, and orchestrate expedient responses. In its adult form, it is composed of 94-98% water and can be found in every ocean in the world. Some jelly fish do have these body parts such as the box jelly fish. Most jellyfish are passive drifters that feed on small fish and zooplankton that become caught in their tentacles. Jellyfish have an incomplete digestive system, meaning that the same orifice is used for both food intake and waste expulsion. They are made up of a layer of epidermis, gastrodermis, and a thick layer called mesoglea that produces most of the jelly and separates the epidermis from the gastrodermis.

Their shape is not hydrodynamic, which makes them slow swimmers but this is little hindrance as they feed on plankton, needing only to drift slowly through the water. It is more important for them that their movements create a current where the water (which contains their food) is being forced within reach of their tentacles. They accomplish this by rhythmically opening and closing their bell-like body.

Since jellyfish do not biologically qualify as actual "fish", the term "jellyfish" is considered a misnomer by some, who instead employ the names "jellies" or "sea jellies". The name "jellyfish" is also often used to denote either Hydrozoa or the box jellyfish, Cubozoa. The ****name Scyphozoa comes from the Greek word skyphos, denoting a kind of drinking cup and alluding to the cup shape of the animal."Also because I just like them, replacement will come on post 2,000.

New things that I am trying

Well since my school days are nearly over. I've decided to try some new things so as not to be bored just sleeping all day. For starters I've decided to go back to playing the piano. Its been nearly 10 years since I've tried and now that I have the time I can do it. I am trying to master the chopsticks (not the song) along with continuing my lessons in spanish. Also I want to catch up on the other animes I watch other then Inuyasha, do more sudoku's, crosswords and cooking without the microwave. So what about you? Any new things that you want to try or finish doing?

Last night was awards night

Well Last night or the other day, because I know that for some of you it's already Thursday. Was Seniors Awards Night at my school. Not to sound bitter or jealous, but what a waste of my time that noise was!! Grr! We lefted our apartment at 4:50 p.m. and the ceremony didn't start until 6:45 p.m. To top things off I didn't even get that big of an award. Not that I was excepting to, but the nerve of that school wasting 2 to 3 hours especially when I have an algebra exam. Plus my award isn't really even an award more like a whatever for showing up to school GEAR-UP piece of paper. By the way I don't see green or red I see yellow.

Good news and Bad news

Well in case you're all wondering here's the news. The bad news is I have a cold that or allergies. Makes sense right? Everyone gets sick during the fall or winter. I get a stuffed nose in late spring. The good news is that on Tuesday or Thursday I'm getting an award from my school. As soon as I find out what it's for I'll let all of you know. Later.

Who do you look like?

The title says it all. I was wondering something, I know that this sounds a bit personal. Which of your parents do you look like? As far as facial features go? Now mind you, I'm not asking for pictures or anything.
