I was playing gears of war 2 when suddenly I joined a multiplayer game and when I loaded up the map "Avalanche", my screen was covered in little black dots. At first I thought there was an issue with loading the pixels and it would go away within a few seconds. But it stayed throughout the duration of the game and it really annoyed me so I shut off my xbox and turned it back on. As soon as I turned it back on I see a system error screen on my tv and my xbox has on red ring that keeps flashing. I decided to turn it back off, take out the disc, clean it, take out my hard drive, unplug the power cord, then put it all back in and turned it on again. Thankfully the red ring left and my dashboard booted up. I was confident that it would work now because I didnt see any black dots. But when I joined a multiplayer game, once again there were black dots all over my screen. It's so weird, when I'm in a game I see the black dots but when I'm on my dashboard and stuff or even the menus in gow 2 there aren't any black dots. And now when I turn it off and turn it back on I get the system error and red ring again. Does anyone know what might be happening to my xbox, and did my gears of war 2 disc cause this?

I came home and I saw the CD drive in my Wii glowing blue. Is there an update today? Is it safe to turn on my Wii?

I'm assuming you already jiggled the A/V cables around a little bit...Yarcofin

Of course... I even blew into them and the plug that plugs into the Wii itself ... :D

It came crashing down on me today. I came home really tired from school work and I was supposed to meet up with my friends to catch a movie but that wasn't possible, so I decided to play mario strikers on my wii because I haven't played it for a while. I booted up the game and expected everything to be normal when all of a suddenthe sound wasn't coming out. I thought the volume was down so I turned it up, but I heard some static in the left speaker. I went to the wii shop channel and then a huge crashing noise came out of the speaker. I assumed the tv's speakers were broken so I switched to a different tv in my house. I had the same problem. A big crashing static type of noise comes out whenever I hook up my Wii. I plugged in my ps2 but didnt get the same sound, so I am assuming my Wii is broken. Do you guys know a solution? Or should I just call it quits and send get Nintendo to send me a new one. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

HEy, I remember in the Nintendo press conference they mentioned a new channel coming out in WiiWare called "Check Mii out". Unless I am completely wrong, there hasn't been any news or any release dates posted. What happened to the channel? If I am wrong and there has been two months full of hype and someone released the date already, please correct me and give me some of the info. Thanks for all the help.
