Uhhh..has Tony Dorsett not retired and had a chance to play a full career? Bush is in his second year. Of course Dorsett's will be looked at as a better career so far. My god, do you think of what you are typing when you go through the process? Clearly not. Bush is also currently sharing the ball with Deuce McAllister so he's not going to be rushing for 100 yards every game. Give the guy a chance to go through his career. Then we can speak of how he plays. By the way, In his first year he had how many receptions? eighty-eight receptions. He hasn't even already played this full year and has seventy-three catches. If he would keep up at the same pace and play the whole season he would most likely finish the season with over 100 receptions.He may as well shut it down and rehab for next season. Team isn't going anywhere, and it seems- neither is his career. He a great athlete yes, but a great football player too? Hardly. He's a number 2 overall pick. We can't keep making apologies for top-10 picks-- they must have a hand in 3 wins a year if they're playing a skill postion.
Look at the careers of two number 2 overall picks of similar build, both Heisman Trophy winners, both super-hyped coming of of college: Tony Dorsett vs Reggie Bush.
Tony was smaller by at least an inch, maybe 2;and 20 pounds lighter... which of them would anyone say is a better football player?To help support my position here is a quote and story-link from today(notice how author has labeled him as "OK" well, a number 2 overall selection MUST be better than "ok"!!) :

"A bust? No, that's unfair. He's OK. But just OK. Because of his speed, he'll pop the occasional big play, though he hasn't this year. But when the Saints drafted Bush, they didn't think they were getting a guy who would rank a pedestrian 18th in the NFL in total yards."

[QUOTE="geaux321"]Espurs the mock looks good.
I have a feeling Desean Jackson won't be much help in the WR department as he will go the Devin Hester way and be more of a returner.

I agree, he isnt even the best receiver on his team but if you put Devin Hester in the draft right now, he would probally be a top 5 pick. The combine will make this guy look amazing, and the comparisons to Hester will have someone reach on him much like Miami did with Ginn last year.
Returners are becoming a bigger part to teams each year. I'm sure no one in this draft will be as good of a returner as Hester but someone like Jackson could do some damage so yes I agree with you.
