I really like this game, but after I got past a certain point it stopped saving my progress.  It says it was saving it, but when I go back to play the game my progress is gone.  No other game has done this.  Any idea what the problem may be?

It kinda sad.  I mean I like Nintendo.  But to watch the U slowly bleeding to death is gut wrenching.  The doctor comes in and says its terminal unless Luigi can find the cure in the mansion.  When all the sudden a mysterious ghost appears and bashed U over the head with a 6.5 and it goes into a coma.  NNOOOOOO!!!! I screamed as I dropped to the floor clutching U to my chest.  How am I suppose to play Zelda I cried as a shook U slightly.  HOW DAMNIT! TELL ME HOW!!!!

Don't do a dreamcast buddy.  Don't only get a few 3rd party games from last gen systems then have to support yourself all by yourself.  Then don't get immediately over shadowed by the more powerful new systems coming out!  I'm telling you.  Your different enought.  Wahahahahaha!!!

Back in the days around when Gerstmann gate went down I really trusted gamespots reviews and knew it was the ultimate source for how good a game was or wasn't.  They had a good staff back in them days.  Now these days I don't know who to trust.  I know I can't just except that it was an 8.  Now I have to check with others cause the trust in the relationship is gone.  I know IGN rates crappy games too high.  While gamespot will slam a good game sometimes.

Gerstmann was a great reviewer and I always trusted him to tell me like it is.  These days I don't think much of any of the reviewers.  I mean where did they find these clowns they got working for them now.  Thier parents basement is too simple of an answer.  Lets look at these ppl who have such influence over our almighty dollar.  What about that goof ball who is bald with the glasses?  Man he bugs me.  Would you trust this man with your kids?  Neither would I and I sure can't trust him with my games either.  Video games are like my children.  It is time for things to start changing around this place.  SO SIGN!

Both killer apps and major franchise for both their prospective consoles.  But there can only be one exclusive to rule them all.  Which one is it?

I don't even mind the bugs. I would score it a 7.5 just because the game is good, but not great. The main quest just could not keep me interested. The game did not present any meaningful choices. I feel like Bethesda is concerned with trying to let each character do everything in an enormous world. I would like their games a whole lot more if they were more focused, and the quests you decide to complete actually had an impact on the world and unlocked and locked other future quests. That way, each time you play the game, you can have a completely different experience.PurpleMan5000
So your saying you would like it to be more like fable?

Simple, it's not a skateboarding game.

Yes, but they could add downloadable content to allow you to skate to quests. Imagine grinding one of those awesome castles, then kick flip off a trolls head.

If any game derserves it, it is this game.  It blows away any other 9.0 game I can think of.  Skyrim is by far the most epic, amazing game I have ever played.  It is the ultimate fantasy world and the only game I have ever played that never gets boring.  Oblivions graphics were beautiful, but Skyrim looks like it was made for a whole different system.  I was amazed they were able to make it look that good.  I can't think of one thing wrong or one thing I would change about the game.  It is almost two huge and epic you start to feel over whelmed.  There are so many quests and so much to do.  Try to take care of one quest and you end up with three more.  The only thing that could beat this game is Elder Scrolls 6 coming out for the new systems.  So why the low score?  Makes it sound mearly average among the good games and giving it the credit it deserves.

The most disappointing for me was by far Left For Dead. This game had only 4 levels. I beat it in an hour. What a rip off. I can't believe they got away with doing that. And by a great company like valve no less. I never expected them to pull a fast one like that. I was so stoked to hear about this game. I couldn't wait to blow away some Zombies.

Rinsen is by far the worst game I have played this gen. This game is horrible. I don't think I have ever seen controls this bad. It reminds me of a crappy PC game from like 92. The graphics aren't great, but they aren't bad. The combat in this game is so basic and retarded it isn't even funny. The NES did a better job than this monstrocity. I don't know how those developers can sleep at night after putting out a game like this. And it actually got a sequel? I wanted to try it cause it is a fantasy RPG, the kind of game I like.

I know have been wanting to play a platformer for some reason lately. I know that is a weak spot on the Xbox. I have played Kameo. Good game. Any others you might suggest?
