@komuchen At this rate Gabe Newell will die from old age before they've released Half Life 3. Their status as a Godlike developer is to me overblown, they haven't released anything THAT good since HL2. Valve has to be the only developer which will be praised even if they're not doing anything at all.
I know it's good when devs take their time but FFS there's taking time to create a masterpiece and then there's Duke Nukem Forever.
Oh clearly, I mean who want Killzone, the solid shooter that fully takes advantage of next gen hardware, or InFamous, a fantastic superhero game with choice in how you progress, or Knack, the game for everyone, what about the interesting looking game The Order? And lets downplay whatever Naughty Dog is doing, since we don't want them to make Xbox1 to look too bad!
C'mon MS, why so defensive? You may win over some casuals with the lure of killing zombies and that CoD with robots (which is coming for Ps4 later) but the general community has spoken, you need to do more than that.
What is Activision releasing except CoD? Seriously I have no idea, Prototype 2 was the last game that was an actual game, where are these risky games I hear about?
@lonewolf315 Consider that that's probably multiplats, as the exclusives have pretty much dried up. If they're calling this "supporting the 360" it's going to be interesting to see what happens when they stop.
@jayjay444 Well Sony advertised it for their system at Gamescom I believe, so I don't think it will take that long. However I wouldn't put so much weight on one indie game. I look most forward to what Naughty Dog is cooking up!
See, that's something Xbox don't have, sure Ps4 has a lot of indie support going for it, but there's also a bunch of dedicated 1st party devs ready to make new games. There's always that question, what is Naughty Dog doing, what is Santa Monica doing... MS don't have that, Bungie isn't doing exclusive, Epic isn't by any means tied down, sure they buy and publish exclusive games but they aren't able to get the same quality out of it.
@MichaelJolly Indeed, those of us who aren't as rich as the top-earners at MS might not think long about 100 bucks, but for someone who got 200 bucks to live of each month I guarantee it matters. So what is a student supposed to think when MS employees shrugs off those with poor finances? Those who can't go to their daddy and ask for an extra 1000 bucks whenever they feel like it?
Like all people of any wealth, they don't know or forget what it's like to don't have infinite amount of cash. Sony don't treat their costumers like deep wallets, gotta respect that, even if all they do is hide it really well. Anyway, as someone who don't need a 500 dollar cable box I will get the superior GAMING console, I like gaming, that's what I'm all about in the matter.
