Thanks, all.
I could have guess at some of those exclusives, I suppose, but I wanted to leave it up to people who had actually played them.
Thanks, all.

Just google PS3 exclusives. Theres ya answer.

Right, but I was also wondering about non-exclusives that might be better for PS3.
OK, first off, let me make it clear that I am NOT trying to start a system/flame war. I just have an honest question for this audience.
I want to get a PS3 in the near future, and I'm trying to weigh the benefits, other than it being a Blu-Ray player. My question is, what are some of the games (out now or soon) that are honestly better on the PS3 (or good exclusives, obviously)?
I'm asking because it seems like sometimes devs put some extra things into the 360 version of their games. So, I was wondering if maybe they did that for some PS3 games as well.
Thanks.
This is annoying what MS did. YOu can't connect the component cables at the same time as HDMI since the AV connector is too fat and blocks the HDMI port. So no optical or analog out. But for some reason, they include an audio adapter with the Elite, that has a thinner connector that will work with the A/V port at the same time with HDMI, giving you what you want.
I mean I understand only the Elite coming with an "HDMI cable", but the audio adapter is essential to all HDMI 360s. And guess what, the only way to get that adapter is to buy from MS a 360 official HDMI cable for $50 freaking dollars. So much for buying an HDMI cable for $5 when you are forced to buy an overpriced one from MS just to get that adapter you need.
Otherwise, the only possible other option is to just connect HDMI to your tv, still set the 360 to Dolby Digital 5.1 through HDMI, then use the optical audio "out" on your tv to send that to the receiver.
I forget who said this
That's something I found in a post a little while back. Not sure if that's important to you or not. Also, I have like 70/120 GB free right now, and I've had mine for about 2 months. Now, if you're not gonna go out and DL every demo that comes out (like me :D), then it's probably not as big of an issue, but I figure that if I can get 50 free partial games, that saves me from having to purchase regular games. Especially ones like Crackdown and skate, where you can do just about everything in the demo.

Wow, I didn't realize that. I'm really glad I decided to go for the Elite instead of the Premium now. And I do feel bad for the other people who get screwed by this....you might be able to get one on eBay for cheap...or you could trying manually making your AV connector smallerwith a file or something:P
It seems to me like it would be hard to make a good movie out of a hitman game. I mean, there's not a whole lot of story to go with. There's definitely a lot of cool action, and it will probably succeed in that aspect, but I just feel like they're going to kill it by giving him a love interest and such (since about 99% of all movies are like that).
Also, the actor looks about 20 years too young, unless they're putting the time period back to earlier in his career, and thus the love interest of a strapping, bald, 22 year old...
I really want to see it, but I don't know that I want to pay movie theatre prices for it, so probably a rent for me.
I got mine on Tsavo Highway on Legendary (don't know if that matters, but you asked). The part after thewall you have to go around in the beginning, before the tunnel (sorry if that doesn't make any sense to you) has two choppers and two mines (I think they're in one of the little buildings). I put mines on either side of the big crates that are in the road, and BRed the choppers one at a time to draw them over, then ran back to make them chase me, and BOOM!
I had similar troubles at first (the guy dies, but not the chopper), and I think I started shooting the actual vehicle when I was drawing them out.
Mass Effect has been hyped a lot recently, and it looks interesting, but I have been waiting for AC since it was announced (I was contemplating buying a PS3 solely for that game...now I don't have to :P).
I wish there was a demo or something so I could try out the game mechanics (if there is and I'm just dumb, let me know). Story is definitely important, but I don't want to have to go through horrible game play in order to watch it unfold.
I mean you can't get more hi def than 1080p, and they're already at 1080p. 1080p is gonna be arond for ATLEAST another decade before we start getting to 1440p.FireKicks
For games, maybe, not TVs though. For all of you who are obsessed with pixel counts, check this one out. 2560x1600 NATIVE resolution...and it's not one of those 11" proof of concept things. It's pretty darn big.
In a society where parents are getting more lazy, it's just a matter whether or not parents are being responsible these days. Laws passed to protect parents aren't the answer, it just gives parents more excuse to be lazy. Parents should be more aware of what their kids are doing, and bonding with them wouldn't hurt either. Times are changing, yes, but that's not excuse for bad parenting.

I couldn't have said it better. The media always try to blame the developers for creating things that can be inappropriatefor some people. They never mention the fact that no one is making these people play these games, and in some cases it's illegal to sell them to minors. If people who aren't supposed tobeplaying the game actually are, that's not the developers' faults. Once it leaves their office, they can't really control its distrobution.
If some kid breaks into a gun store, steals a gun, and shoots himself in the leg, is that the store owner's fault for having guns in a gun store? No. It's a gun store. It's the kid's fault for breaking into a gun store, and the parents' fault for not teaching their child some common sense.
Just remember.... The wii has a parental lock on it!
This means that if parents dont want their kids playing it, then they wont be able to.

That's a very good point, and is a good rebuttal against the argument. The one platform that lets the game be "more realistic" is the one that has measures in place to "protect" its younger audience...who would have thought ;)
