Either don't post something or post it and deal with the consequences. Who is he to decide what is news worthy and what isn't? News is just anything somebody would like to know. Whether that's what's happening in Europe or what some game dev is shooting his mouth off saying.

If the argument is based on what's "newsworthy" then we're all technically a bunch of idiots for taking the time out of our days to read about music, movies, tv and video games instead of bombings, killings and destruction because that's more worthy.

@Master_Hav0c I don't think this article is bull at all. He's obviously annoyed at the way they took his comment. But you shouldn't say something (or tweet it) unless you're ready to deal with the consequences. It doesn't matter if nobody saw it or if everyone in the world saw it, he still chose to do it himself.

And on the topic of news being "legitimate". I'd most likely believe what someone is posting on their own twitter account as the truth as opposed to some other company, tabloid or magazine giving you the scoop. It came straight from his mouth (fingers) and he's not denying it. So what if people are paying a lot of attention to what he said, he obviously knew that'd happen, and now we're all sitting here talking about him even more. Well played....

@endorbr Dude news is ANYTHING that people are interested in knowing. I think the whole idea of what "news" is is being taken too literally. If you want to know about something, it's news.

A video game is literally a game (competitive entertainment) with a screen (television). How are we forgetting this? Seriously, as stupid as it sounds I very much respect any coke or drug addict more than a person who claims to be a video game "addict". These guy's are using this "addiction" thing as an excuse for their lack of enthusiasm and will to do most other things in their lives. Seriously anybody can claim an addiction to ANYTHING. I know some say "So if you can get addicted to anything why not say the same about drugs?" Well that's simple.....drugs have chemicals in them. When you stop taking a drug your body physically wants it back in your system. A video game addict wants nothing more than an easy way out, or at least an excuse for their ridiculous gaming that other people give them crap for.

To tell you the truth I was never THAT interested in going to E3. It's too far (NYC here) and I think that the publishers can still get the word out of their games. Every next generation system pretty much has an internet connection. They'll probably just distribute demos through free downloads, that's what I'd do anyways...
