The Steelers of Superbowl XL (the one against the Seahawks).

No contest in my mind about that.

Darth_Revan_666

The ignorance is this thread is a little amazing.

Read this article by Rick Reilly. Reilly usually sucks but he hit the nail on the head here. Most NFL players aren't Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, etc who make millions of dollars. Many NFL players make enough to have a good living but a year off of work would still effect them as much as it would effect most of us.

Whats your point? Even a below average player gets paid six figures. If somebody cant survive on at least a hundred grand for a year they need to get their priorities straight.

That's one of the few moves they need to do, they have far too few teams in the playoffs, especially considering how deep their divisions are. Baseball right now has more teams per division than the NFL, but fewer playoff teams, this is a move they needed to make. WHat they need to do now is A. cut some games off the regular season schedule and B. stop having so many days between playoff games.

Here's a YouTube link that shows James Cameron denying a fan an autograph, and later calling him a "****ing a*****e" for invading his "personal space." The two have a bitter dispute about Cameron's insults after the director walks out of an airport in regards to Cameron refusing to sign the fan's poster of Avatar.

James Cameron: "I don't owe you a ****ing signature."

Fan: "I know you don't owe me anything. I didn't say you owe me anything."

James Cameron: "Just get out of my personal space...I don't have to respect somebody who's being a ****ing a*****e."

Fan: "I'm an a*****e because I ask somebody I admire for their autograph? That makes me an a*****e? I pay $15 to see your film that I make in an hour of work and I'm the a*****e? Who's the a*****e here?"

James Cameron: "You did it for yourself, you didn't do it for me."

What do you make of this? Is James Cameron really a cruel, arrogant, big-headed film director for no regard for normal people at all?

Tigerman950

That was pretty low of cameron. I didnt see a problem with the fan asking for an autograph. If he didnt want to sign it,thats cool. He could have just politely declined and carried on. But to go off like that was uncalled for imo.

[QUOTE="DJ_Magneto"]@coltsfan4ever - The haters and the scrutiny...the Big 3 brought this upon themselves. Stan Van Gundy had the quote of the week, and it's something I've banging on the drum about ever since the beginning of the season. [QUOTE="Stan Van Gundy"] "I do chuckle a little bit when they sort of complain about the scrutiny that they get. My suggestion would be if you don't want the scrutiny, you don't hold a championship celebration before you've even practiced together. It's hard to go out yourself and invite that kind of crowd and celebration and attention, and then when things aren't going well, sort of bemoan the fact that you're getting that attention. To me, that doesn't follow. I think the players thought it was going to be easy and they were going to roll over everybody. It hasn't materialized that way up to this point."

Yeah I agree. I also love how some people claim I dont understand why people are having an issue with them crying./sarcasm Im no Heat fan but I feel this whole crying issue is really getting blown out of proportion imo. The Heat put this target on their back and so far they wilting under pressure. Like I said earlier, the tam has the talent to win they just need to learn how to close out games.

[QUOTE="LTomlinson21"]Haha, what kind of competitor cries in the regular season when you built and hyped your team to win multiple championships. Even if these guys are able to ever put it together, how could you look at them as some of the best competitors? I wonder who the players were, though.Chutebox

Someone who put all their heart in a game and lost at the last second. Who gives a **** if someone cried? That just shows how much they care about winning.

I agree. But the haters of the Heat are fierce on here and in the public.lol Oh well, hopefully for Heat fans this team can start playing better and stop worrying about all the other bs. They have the talent to go far in the playoffs. Playoffs are a fresh beginning and once they make it,I can see them playing better. They just need to learn how to finish off teams.
