Looks like lots of fun but I worry it'll be too intricate for me, both in terms of time required to learn all the strategies, and in terms of the kind of communication required to get a really satisfying game out of it. Generally I'll only have time to play with randoms and we'll all just run around doing our own thing. I wish I did have time to really get into these kinds of games, and the kind of friends who didn't have babies and jobs to dedicate their time to playing with me. But, I don't. I'm 36. Those days are over. That's why CSGO still has such appeal. You don't need much more than a spare half an hour and a basic knowledge of the maps to have a blast with it.
@gintoki: and that's fine, you're of course completely free to disagree with us on the substance, we don't take issue with that in fact it's to be encouraged. But you went in with the conspiratorial nonsense about being paid by EA to say positive things. That stuff isn't true and cheapens your argument.
@gintoki: i don't think you understand, friend. We think that Battlefront does an excellent job of paying homage to the original Star Wars. We're not in conversation with EA. We played the beta and wanted to make a video about how accurately the game replicates that original Star Wars aesthetic. We do say so when we partner with a sponsor to produce content. This is not one of those instances. It's just us saying what we think. There's no money involved, no conspiracy to get mad about. You're upset about something that doesn't exist.
