they told me 250. hmm, Anyways before i do that does anyone know what exact laser to gget or if this will even work? Aslo, if i do do this and take it apart i know it voids the warranty. lets say i do that and it doesn't fix it can i still pay sony the 150 or 250 to fix it or will they not even touch it after i do that?
haha trust me. all the research you have done is false. i've dont aall that too and of corse i have called sony. 250 bucks to fix i, been over a year. its not the HD i've bought a new one allready still doesnt work. formatted reinstalled updates. it has to be the laser. It plays all other formats and ps2 games. it just will play blu rays. it reads the games and loads up then no matter what in about 10 min it will freeze then that error will come up. Has anyone ever had this error and replaced the laser and it worked. That has to be the only thing it could be.
People have told me so many different things about this error. Anyways im stuck, I don't have a warranty anymore so i'm just going to replace the laser. Wich one should i get? Their is so many different models of the ps3 laser. If anyone can tell me exactly wich model number to get i would really appreiciate it.
Ok, i just got this error the other dday. I have been trying to read up on it to see what i can do (had my ps3 more then a year no warranty anymore, 200 bucks to send it to sony BS!). I have read that its a harddrive issue where their is corrupt data on the drive and if you write on it it does that. somthing like that anyways my question is if thats the case a new HD will fix this right? Well, i think it has to be a BD drive propblem becuase i have warhawk but its ON my HD no disc. I was curious to try that and no problems played and let it sit for a couple hours to see if it would freeze, never did. It happend to me while playing madden online(of corse got a disc and loss to). just froze and tried to playing after i restarted and that error came up on all my disc games. i turned it off again and somtimes i will play the game but it will freeze right after i start. so i guess what im trying to say is i dont think its a HD problem like people say. I hope it is becuase i orderd a new 100 gig notbook HD was only 30 bucks so whatever, my warranty is gone tho and i really dont want to pay sony for a 500$ machine that broke a little over a year. BS! anyone have anything?
